Christopher Nolan to direct WWII drama ‘Dunkirk’ (1st trailer is up)

Nolan da GAWD. Da man can do no wrong. I'll be there opening night :smokin

Plus another Hans Zimmer OST :smokin

I'm already watching Rogue One at the Chinese Theater so I can't wait for that snippet :smokin

I'll prolly see it twice..if it has a crazy twist

Will see Rogue 1 Xmas day

why would it have a crazy twist?

Most of his movies do:

Memento (crazy crazy film)
Prestige
Inception..best movie I've seen
Interstellar

Without spoiling them I will only add that these are thought provoking where you will come up with different theories on what actually happened or what ifs..I also enjoy the cinematography and feel it is way ahead of its time

Insomnia and Dark knights he was asked to direct..he didn't really write up the scripts or make his own interpretations of the plot..but still enjoyable..I own all his movies

Dudes refuse to believe Nolan is doing a straight up war time period piece. Even though the movie is about an actual battle that really happened.

They going off **** like Memento or The Prestige to support the whole there will be a crazy twist. Even though they're ignoring there was none for Interstellar or the Bar movies.

Interstellar had a twist...

that Macncheeseahey was actually the one sending the messages.

Meh.

I aint about to discern from good and bad twists with what I was talking about but that was just **** if we're calling it a twist on par with his other movies. Interstellar had lost its wheels by then.

The battle of Dunkirk was a real battle, hell its WW2 we all know who wins without even looking it up.

to be fair, a twist is a twist is a twist, doesn't matter if it's Shamalamalan bad or the film is exhausted by the time it is revealed

Since we're talking about Nolan, I think it matters.

Especially when I was bringing up some of his recent movies didn't have twists but like I said I should've said a Nolan twist. What he is known for.

Not that Shamalamadingdong twist bull ****.

Then you haven't seen Following.

JK.. I saw it over 15 years ago and no inclination to watch it again. Come to think of it, I don't think I'd have the attention span for it now.

They showed a super extended trailer last night when I watched Rogue One, amazing. I will be catching this the day it releases.

Wooooo that IMAX preview had me tense af and nothing was really going on lol. Dogfighting scenes gonna be mindblowing in IMAX :smokin

I saw it again yesterday. This is not a movie for little kids at all. It's not the violence though. Kids in my theater were in legit tears at the end cause of how it played out

Except for this one little girl she turning up when Vader was doing his thing, had The whole theater dying
