OFFICIAL @MIAMIDOLPHINS 2016 PLAYOFFS! THREAD (10-6) :::: NEXT: WILDCARD Vs @STEELERS 1:00PM EST CB

Guys paid, and then on snap counts.
Tough early season schedule.
WASTED draft picks
Good picks, LET GO
Wasted free agent signings.
Ridiculous coaches like Philbin and his timeouts and Sherman and his Go-Go. Kevin Coyle "prevent" defenses.
Injuries GALORE with players that are ALWAYS injured.
We won't hand the ball to Lamar Miller, but we'll keep bringing Daniel Thomas back every year.

And all the fanbase does (and every other dumb *** fanbase) is blame ONE guy. Who's never missed a game, and takes more hits that any player on the team.

Let's go get a rookie. He'll fix everything.

:rolleyes

These a thing yet?

Ryan Tannehill

Hot: Tannehill ranks second behind Ben Roethlisberger with three TD passes on throws traveling more than 20 yards past the line of scrimmage. Roethlisberger has five.

Not: Tannehill's Total QBR falls from 70.9 on first down to 51.1 on second down to 9.5 on third down.

Really interesting. We're predictable on 3rd down. The Defense KNOWS we're passing. At some point, we have to break that up. On first and second, they still aren't sure what we're doing, he's more effective against them. On 3rd, it's obvious, and they blitz or play coverage and weaken us. We need to start running more on 3rd downs, even QB draws to start to break that up a bit.

Ironically, Omar showed a play from the NE game, 3rd and 1, under center, playaction, they hit the TE coming across the middle, gained 18. 3rd and 1, not in shotgun, they actually thought it was a run. Eacy completion and they gained big yards off it. 3rd and 6, and they line up 4 wide in shotgun, the defense already knows what's coming. We have to fix that. Hopefully Gase adjusts.

We talked about that last year, it would have changed NOTHING.

Carr would be the one getting killed right now, under Philbin, and still no talent around him.

You won't grasp that of course, but hey.

Hindsight says Landry, Wallace still in town, maybe DVP? Who knows.

I grasp reality bud, I hope Gase realizes #17 is dangerous to a coach's career

You have never, ever, ever used reality, ever.

Celts, Mariners, Phins outbursts prove it.

Mariners, 15 years no playoffs. Dolphins, 8 years no playoffs. I've seen these organizations for what they are, bottom barrel. You look at everything with blinders on.

What happened to your plan? There's no positives with the Dolphins, and they need to clean house like I've been saying. That means the QB too.

Wake, Suh, #17, all of this needs to go. Proper reset with Gase and co.

This is a lost season but Gase should be looking at a whole lot of turnover in the next season. New QB, I would get rid of Albert and move Tunsil to LT. Pouncey can't be depended on. James is looking like a loss. Misi, Wake, Maxwell all should be gone. Jordan Cameron needs to go. Arian Foster, peace. High draft picks for QB, LB, S. Stop spending high draft picks on offensive linemen, it's clear that the top teams in football can build lines without everyone being a former first rounder.

Playmakers have to be focused on, no more Pounceys, James in the first round. Look at teams around the league, they're drafting guys that can fly around the football and stretch defenses. Gase, take your pick at QB, get YOUR guy. Tannehill era is over.

I want a proper rebuild. Get bad contracts off the books, although Tannenbaum is a disaster that Ross can't seem to get enough of.

:smh:

I defended Tannehill for a while but you have to admit, his pocket presence is god awful. I don't think that will ever change. Gase will give him this year to see if he has what it takes to run his offense. Im almost at the point of feeling like "decent" is his ceiling

I've came to the same conclusion over the weekend. He's the consummate 'system' QB. He looks good in scripted plays, but when that breaks down, he will follow. I want to see him do well, but in all honesty, Russell Wilson has faced the same amount of pressure as Tannehill. And I don't have to go any further with Russ' success NFL.

Albeit, our O-line would be a tough buy for any QB, 8' Tanne's case, he's been given a raw deal. But he's, unfortunately, still on the upward slope of his learning curve. And in a league where results are to be displayed immediately, it's unacceptable.

I will acknowledge that it's not just Tanne. But I hate to finally come to the realization, that he's not any help.

Can't sleep, fwiw.

Profound realizations fellas. I just need to convince one more guy

It's not all on the QB. But some is on him. If Gase is the guy for the long-term, better for him to go get his guy this offseason.

I've said the same thing but for different reasons than you.

Burn it down.
Trade assets, (Tannehill, Suh, Jones and whoever else they can get minus WRs) aquire picks and value. (Don't forget we are already down in the draft for trading up to get Caroo) (3rd and 4th I think?)... but they have an extra 7th rounder. So happy days there...

Get out of bad contracts with Jordan and Maxwell. Let Gase mold what he wants.

We'll get a 3rd back for OV, and maybe a 4-5 for Miller. (Comp Picks)

Right, end of round picks.
When the picks they would have originally had would have been early 3rd and and early 4th along with said comp picks.

10 picks with 4 being in the first 3 rounds helps with the rebuild.

Bradford 3-0
Wentz 3-0
Siemian 4-0
Dak Prescott 3-1
Jimmy G 2-0
Case Keenum 3-1

Total 18-2

Brees 1-3
Newton 1-3
Luck 1-3
Rivers 1-3
Palmer 1-3
Stafford 1-3

Total 6-18

Anyone else see mocks with the Dolphins drafts a RB and not a QB...
I thought Tannehill was the problem?

A RB with a top 10 pick? Who ever did that mock deserves a swift kick to the face

Tannehill is part of the problem.

P.S. Dion Jordan is the most worthless, bust player in franchise history

Part of, yes.
Not the biggest in the line of problems, also has been given almost the worst set of circumstances. It's time for all parties to move on. I've been an advocate of burning it to the ground and and do a full restart.

Agree... Yatil Green is a damn close second.

No, this was in 97.
Moss was the next year... 98 the Dolphins picked after the Vikings. Drafted another Running Back, John Avery... back to back first round running back busts.
