Our Alumni game is in about three weeks so I've been trying to get into shape to throw an inning. Haven't thrown competitively for a few years, so this should be interesting.

Haha yeah good luck dont risk it tryin to flame them boys. I havent made it back for an Alumni game in a few years now. I made the first 2 after i was done playing because i was coaching but i moved n what not so hadnt made it back.

But yeah Im hoping i can get back this year or next, ours is during the fall for Homecoming

Nike needs an equivilant of the NB 3000 series spikes. Comfy and availability in wide widths is the perfect baseball shoes for me. Only nike baseball gear I like are the undershirts and sliding shorts. The batting gloves are too thick imho. Mizuno pro limited batting gloves from ebay are the best imho. I hate the mizuno usa lineup. They dont get the top gear. Even in japan they get the best nike stuff. The sha do elite j gloves are only found in a few places online in the usa and its a shame. They are at least as good as the rawlings pro preffered stuff.

I know this is the MLB specific thread but it often acts as a defacto base layer/nikepro discussion....

It appears to be the fitted silhouette and seems to be a reverse negative of the typical pro-vent. It's almost all the large gauge mesh with with the standard dri-fit panels.

Ebay has sone good values on numbered wristbands right now.  IMO those new GR Nike wrist straps are a poor substitute  to the NIke PE ones...or Evoshield...or UA's for that matter.
