Y'all needa go peep Goldderby. They compile experts predictions from different sources and Leo is pretty unanimous across the board. Obviously they're just predictions but you would expect some other picks too but the critics are all in on Leo this year.

Zik said it. In previous years all the Leo fans were crowning him the Oscar before they even saw the movie but he didn't have much support from the people who actually get paid to critique it. Not the case this year

I think Leo's role in wolf is more Oscar worthy than his role in revenant. I won't be upset if he wins since he deserves an Oscar.

Why would the industry and voters even be so hyped about the martian and wanting it to win awards? Because of ridley scott and damon? Movie was ok. It didn't suck.

Saw pics of Stallone and his fam. Him and his wife passed on good genes to his daughters unlike with bruce willis and demi moore.

Anyone watch mozart in the jungle? Would see the ads on amazon and wondered if it was good.

The 2 movies I enjoyed the most were Mad Max and Ex Machina. The Revanent, The H8teful Eight, Creed, Sicario, The Martian were good too but I didn't enjoy them as much.

Ex machina and sicario were 2 of my best as well. Eight and Creed were solid. Havent seen the Revanent yet.

My top 5 in no order were probably Machina, Sicario, Mad Max, the Martian, and Inside Out

Still have to watch Spotlight and Big Short

Stallone winning was a real cool moment.

Leo winning is a pretty good look going into Oscar night. He may finally get it this year . I said it after I saw Rev', I thought he was amazing, but the movie itself I wish I was able to love; I thought it was beautifully shot but just predictable. Surprised but not surprised at the same time that it won Best Picture.

Are you serious right now?

I'm guessing you mean best movie that are strictly pure entertainment and nothing more.

Beasts of No Nation, The Big Short, Sicario, The Hateful 8, The Revenant, etc.

Mad Max was a great movie and is on my list but I look for more than just high octane action. The Martian was on my list too but after I catch a few more movies it's probably gonna drop in to honorable mentions.

^ Word. It was just a bunch of driving on desert roads and explosions. Really couldn't understand why people loved it so much. Didn't see the original, so maybe that's why?
