Anyone ever have a problem where you can't select a story mission in the map? Everything is gray but I haven't done the whole right side yet. I got to navigate close to it and look for the entrance to start. Also all of the encounters and side mission icons disappeared on the left side of my map.

Perhaps you were playing in someone else's session, which could happen after matchmaking missions?
If you go to Group Management, select your name and then "Leave session" (or something like that), it'll return you to your own map/progress.
On a sidenote, I have been experiencing times when I have been unable to start a mission. I've played them all before, but when trying to activate Hard mode, it wouldn't "open the doors". Very strange.

I'm assuming it's either Lexington or Russian consulate? It's a known bug that hasn't been taking care of,
. It usually happens to me when i'm running Lexington. Either the mission doesn't start or it does, but the person you're trying to rescue is dead making it not able to open the door to continue the mission. What i do is just log out and start again, usually works,

^ Yesterday, it was the Times Square Power Relay. I had matchmade the team, but just couldn't activate the mission-start. Really weird.
It's happened at Police Academy too. I resorted to fast-travelling to another mission and then back to PA to get it started.

Try to bang out underground. You're on XOne so you should already know what type of players to encounter, the same that camp any and everywhere on COD, pull some crap stuff in Halo, etc.
I got lucky last time I was in the DZ, there were some rogues but stayed far way. Then, when I surfaced from underground, I called for the pickup and banged it out against the AIs

When you're killed in the DZ, does the person who kills you loots your body? What's the draw back for dying in the DZ?

It's up to the rogue agent to pick up your loot or not. So if you have really good gear that you picked up and are killed by a rogue, chances are, you'll lose your loot.
Another drawback is that you lose DZ exp., keys and currency.
Just try to roll with a group or check out the The Division Reddit page. Some folks posted maps on how to farm for the DZ solo.

Rolled with randoms and got some good yellow merchandise. On the last extraction, I had nothing special, but these randoms starting roguing us. Losers got nothing good

Last night, me and some folks ran DZ. 3 in one group and 3 in another. So we rolled through DZ for about 45 minutes...Then the servers got full and they booted us out lol

If you mean tonight as in Saturday night, I can get on. Got my DZ rank up to about 24 yesterday running w/ some randoms. Got a HE Aug lvl 163, had a HE 131 vector but I got killed waiting for extraction and somebody scooped it up
It definitely helps to roll w/ a squad in there and it becomes fun. No rogues comin after us or anything
