Pics like that are why I am constantly selling my shoes. I don't need all these shoes, not enough time to wear them all. Then they just sit and become ****. Especially with how bad quality is now, shoes gonna be done after 5-6 years of sitting.
 
I think it was wallyhoop who said 10 years tops ds is it.
I wore the hell outta those so i guess its just the shoe.

I've really been considering this.

The older I get, the more I wear the same 5 pair of shoes...if that.
 
Bruh u need to hold on to them toe cap x and Seattles till they turn to dust. Joints look fresh out the box too

Man that OG city X collection was dope... 

that collection sounds  well maintained.

I trashed alot of my older gems (not that i had anything too rare, as i was a broke kid back then).

I think as soon as nostalgia just isnt' as important to you anymore, the love for this hobby dissipates and its easier to get rid of items.

I haven't lost that nostalgia yet, but i can fell it on the horizon.... Once i have a kid, im sure its gonna be a wrap..
 
Yeah, I see him in some OG 10s, 11s and 12s. All are fire. Love the quality and the look. I wore my Taxi 12s from the CDP last week and they felt like bricks. Quality was awful on those. Immediately threw them on eBay.

I try to wear all my shoes and I'm trying to get beneath 40 pairs, not including doubles or triples. Whatever I don't wear, I sell.

Only OG's I got left in the collection is are 7's(Bordeaux), 10's, 11's, 12's, 13's, 14's.

Quality was crazy back then...especially compared to the quality out now :smh:

The nostalgia hasn't left. But it damn sure ain't what it used to be.

Blame it on everyone all of a sudden becoming shoeheads and IG.

There were plenty of late 80s/early 90s bands either from or inspired by Seattle whose members wore shorts over "leggings" that were usually long johns.
