Official Billions Thread: Season 7 (Final Season), Episode 9 (10/6/23) - Game Theory Optimal

I'm going to have to watch again. I saw the guy that stole it, but it seemed like Chuck was in control.

Lara definitely had him losing it. Pull your skirt up B. She just left that morning.

Wow. I see what really gets Axe pissed.

By the afternoon son is going off. No patience at all

Son is in mid rant about banging her friends and models and has to stop.

Anyway, it looks like Axe is falling right in to Chuck's trap but I feel it's gonna go sideways once under way.

Plus the whole sub dominatrix thing is back. I feel Axe is gonna expose that sooner than later.

Dude was WILDIN  like you said, by afternoon straight lost it. It's pretty nice to see Axe going off the rails. He's been portrayed as someone who's always in control, always has the upper hand. Nice to see his weaknesses.

Dope how Taylor handled that meeting with the States Attorney. She's so calculating.

That was Chuck playing chess.

Taylor has so much potential to be the next Axe but I'm not sure Taylor will make it though.

I'm happy to see some of my favorite posters from General and S&T in here  . Whoever called Chuck Rhoads Sr screwing Bobby over with the deal was spot on. I don't see it going any other way.

I don't blame Bobby for his reaction to Lara leaving or him deleting the voicemails. Im just hoping he can put down Rhoads, especially Wendy.

The Taylor angle is vvintereesting. As someone said, she has the juice but it'll just take one wrong move for her to get crushed by Axe

Can't believe Wendy slid off with the Tesla variant and just hopped back into bed with Chuck like that

I really thought Chuck's dumbass was using the juice company to lure in Axe but he really was in it.

Then his dad loses his entire trust? :x

I can see the writers reveal to Chuck that his wife slept with another guy and then ultimately decide to let her end up in jail for the insider trading

Chuck sacrificed all that bread to screw Axe. Damn it will be fun to see how Axe gets out of this. They have all those people on tape. His only chance has to be Wendy taking the large position so late.

Still though, losing all your money?

Not worth it.

And yeah, Wendy getting in on it is gonna screw him over.

Axe is going down. It's funny seeing Team Axe try to come up with scenarios of him getting out of this.

Axe can't go down without Wendy going down. That's the one hiccup Chuck didn't account for.

Wendy essentially went all in on the trade which she's never done before. She's going down for Insider Trading. Now add into the equation, the AG that will be heading any prosecution still believes Wendy gave Axe info about Chuck's failed investigation. He's definitely going to try to throw the book at her to finish what he started at the beginning of the season.

All those loose threads are getting tied together very smoothly. So if Axe goes down then Wendy has to go down as well. Chuck will have a decision to make next week.

Plus Chuck is now officially broke and he lied to Wendy again. In short, Axe wins.

**** Wendy and you do realize it isn't Chuck going after Axe right? That newly appointed D.A. is the one who put the whole sting together, it's his case. There were multiple employees at Axel Rod's office that got in on the short, it's not coming back to Chuck.

 @ Axe wins. You guys really are delusional.

You're missing the point. Chuck set the entire sting up, the new guy is essentially a Manchurian Candidate. He's a puppet going down the hole Chuck put him in. Everything he did was because Chuck told him to do it.

They have Axe on insider trading but when they get all the information on who else profited, Wendy is going to also be implicated. Especially since she bought up as much as she could have. The new AG is going to correctly assume it's because she had some form of prior knowledge.

And if you were paying attention at the start of the season, this new AG is the same guy that was investigating Chuck for abuse of power. He already believes Wendy is dirty and that the $5,000,000 bonus she received from Axe was a pay off for getting inside information about the investigation Chuck led from last season. You might not like Wendy but Chuck isn't under the impression that she caught stray bullets from his plot.

It's a lot of moving parts, keep up!

Now that I think about it more why did Chuck even tell Wendy about the juice and him winning big?

Plus he brought in that vindictive lawyer to be the eastern interim DA and he's the one pressing the charges.

It would be crazy to see in the next ep a 4 weeks ago flashback with Chuck in the same hotel Wendy smashed the rich want to go to space guy and saw them leave the room

I can't see them doing it all in one episode. This gonna be a cliff hanger.
It defifitely will be.

You must've posted this mid episode.

I did the same when the end of the episode made us think Chuck was crying, I almost posted "Damn Axe brought Chuck to tears" and then Was like nah, Chuck is up to something let me keep watching, and then of course it shows Chucks plan, Chuck laughing

Can Chuck and Co. get their money back?

Side note: When the series first started, I hated the character Lara because I didn't find her believable due to Malin being cast.

I was wrong. Malin is low key killing this role.

I couldn't understand at first why Chuck was so arrogant to his wife, he was just a lil toooooo comfy.

I really can't see anyway out of this for Axe without doing a bid and losing damn near everything. Chuck was playing some serious Bobby Fischer moves.

I completely agree with you, except Axe doesn't win here. If anything Chuck, Wendy, & Axe are in for a major L.

No. I didn't.

I'm talking about Chuck LOSING ALL OF HIS MONEY just to get Axe, indirectly at that.

He really lost all of his money. He really was in it. It was still a trap but he lost all his money to do it.

Then he was extra smug with Wendy so now she's implicated off the **** she pulled.

To me that's ******* stupid and not worth it.

You get it. Wendy is going to feel so played and manipulated. All that progress from therapy is out the window. I kind of hope Wendy just throws it in his face now. That's why I slept with someone!

The hate for Chuck by some of you guys is something else.

Alright outside of finally getting Axe, what positives come from this for Chuck?

Money. All gone
Wife. Jail or Divorce.
Kids. Gone cause put mommy in jail
Ira. Only friend left betrayed and left broke
Campaign. Gone now that his wife will be implicated in insider trading.

His lost too much and we're acknowledging this fact.
