Sell em, buy the 2016s, keep em DS till the next retro, repeat the process
I was thinking about just unDSing my 2009s when I go pick up the 2016s or when I'm going around raffling.

Considering that most of today's "sneaker culture" is made up of teens I'd say hype and popularity has more to do with it than nostalgia. The majority of the people buying out of nostalgia are more than likely to old to be swept up in the trends and def aren't Nikes target market.
I agree to a certain extent, you hardly see teenagers purchasing three and four pairs of the same shoe (unless they're a notable reseller). So the older Jordan sneaker enthusiasts are still a huge part of the culture. I'm one of those adults that care about the history and only tend to purchase original colorways because I admired what Jordan achieved in said shoes.

DON'T DO IT, JB!!!! This is coming from a guy who doesn't even own Jams, but I know this is a mistake. The JB consumer of the last 5 years has been spoiled rotten. You've released every desired shoe you have to offer and you wonder why shoes are starting to sit?

Why the hell would I buy some ***s**t maroon VI colorway that no one cared  about in '91, when I just picked up decent renditions of the infrared colorways the year before? Everybody isn't dumb.

So you rather people not lose interest and continue to struggle on release day?

I say flood the market to the point we go back to FCFS like the old days.

Once you take the feeling of exclusivity out of the equation most "sneaker heads" will move on to the next fad :smokin

The exclusive releases become less than flattering over time. I wear my Slam Dunk 6s sparsely while my go to shoes are either my Bordeauxs, Carmines, and Chicagos.

And 5s really. You have no idea how instrumental see-thru rubber was in carrying sub par looking sneakers. But that was the early 90s for you.

This guy gets it. The best thing Nike's doing for us right now is flooding the market, with GR after GR. This leads to them sitting in stores and anyone who wants to cop the shoes being able to. When it comes to something you like really what else matters besides that?

Yeah i never understood the mentality where the more popular your brand is getting, the more you strangle it.

Yep, I get having demand outpace supply a bit so yo don't have to heavily discount your product to clear the market. But man, Nike let that reselling go on for waaaay too long before stepping in on those profits. I'm sure it was all calculated though.

I'm gonna cop these if they release. I was at jimmy jazz in December going Christmas shopping, and I saw the 7210s, but I was 30$ short. This will not happen again.

Even Dino hinted that rumor was false when he posted on IG

If it's ineed true and there's no Jam release I wonder what the 11 of 2016 will be. [emoji]129300[/emoji]
