̶S̶U̶P̶E̶R̶G̶I̶R̶L̶ BATWOMAN (tv show) THREAD - S2 PREMIERES 2021

Cat did put Kara and Supergirl together but then MM entered Cat Grant's office as Supergirl while Kara was still in the room

From then on, Cat never suspected again. If she is, she's hiding it well lol

Actually, I wouldn't put it past the show that she reveals she knew all about Kara at a later date on a I knew along tip. I can see her be like 'you guys were trying so hard to hide it from me I couldn't burst your bubble'
Oh I remember when he did that but don't think I watched the entire ep to catch her putting her suspicions to rest.

One of my favorite parts of this show right now is how Cat seems to be slowly transforming from a one dimensional, hard *** snobby boss to something of a mother figure for Kara.

Chick has multiple, subtle dimensions to her acting which I enjoy. Not to mention she's hot to me in her old age.

She definitely seems nicer than I remember the last time I watched which was episode 2 or 3.

Calista Flockhart is fine.

If it hadn't been for her huge absence in a biz I'd say she was wasted on this show.

Well that very good.

It's almost like certain characters were made for fun optimistic, heart filled story.

Drfinitrly a good forst season with a lot of room for improvement. My two complaints from the Finale, I never really felt that the stakes were truly high. Everything was resolved so simply. And next season they haveto tone down Alex's white privilege. She's always so defiant for no real reason. She thinks she always has the answers.

‘Supergirl’ Renewal Drama: Talks Center on Possible Jump to CW, Budget Cuts (Exclusive)

The Wrap reveals that CBS and Warner Bros. are currently deep in talks about the future of Supergirl, and with just two weeks to go until the network announce their fall schedule, the clock is ticking and the pressure is on. CBS want the show to come back, but the fact that it costs $3 million an episode to produce is a major issue for them, especially as the series lost around half of its viewers over the course of the season. Supergirl still did good numbers, but not quite good enough to justify an amount as high as that it seems.

However, here's where things get interesting. The trade mentions that, "Both sides have a potential out. Moonves could push 'Supergirl' to The CW, which as it happens is a joint venture between CBS and Warners (Moonves and his team are responsible for programming the network). Such a switch would make perfect sense. The youth-skewing CW already has “The Flash” and other superhero franchises (there was a crossover between 'Supergirl' and 'The Flash' this season), and its audience is much more aligned with 'Supergirl] than is CBS’ much-grayer viewership."

^ Damn, if the move happens, that CW line-up is basically all superhero shows:

Flash / LoT / Supergirl

All the CW would need now is a show on Mondays. I feel like the visuals would be uograded immediately! Do It Berlanti!

3 million an episode. Damn.

I reckon they'd have to downgrade the sets and lighting and cgi and all that for the move to cw.

‘Supergirl’ Moves To The CW, Renewed For Season 2

The CW has picked up its first new series for next season, and it is not that new. After weeks of speculation, Supergirl will move from CBS to sister network the CW, which has renewed the superhero drama for a second season. The pickup, which comes hours after the most recent deadline for CBS to make a renewal decision on the freshman series, expands the CW DC superhero universe to four series, all from producer Greg Berlanti, as Supergirl is set to join The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. One of them, Flash, already crossed over to Supergirl on CBS, making for a seamless integration of the newbie into the CW superhero squad.

A Supergirl move to the CW had been rumored for awhile, with talks becoming real the last few days. A CW pickup was contingent on finding a way to produce a show of that scale (Supergirl commanded one of the highest license fees for a new series this season), for the CW. Producing studio Warner Bros. TV already made a pre-emptive effort to trim costs with a planned move of production from Los Angeles to Vancouver in Season 2, which is now official. That will bring the show together with Berlanti’s current CW superhero drama series, which all are based in Vancouver.

This is the second time Supergirl had been rumored to move from CBS to the CW. It didn’t happen after the pilot last year, but it is now. Previously, drama Ringer moved from CBS to the CW after the pilot.

Being CBS Logobased on a DC property, as it moves to the CW, Supergirl will remain solely owned by WBTV and not a co-production with CBS TV Studios as the original CW series automatically become.

Despite the fact that its numbers tapered off significantly after a strong start, Supergirl, aided by a solid DVR play, averaged a 2.4 rating among adults 18–49 in a competitive time slot, ranking as the No. 1 new CBS drama and No. 4 new network series overall (behind only Blindspot, Life in Pieces and Quantico) in the demo this season. It is CBS’ youngest-skewing new drama and averaged nearly 10 million viewers.

Cant wait for the SuperFlarrow Crossover. Kara & Barry all bubbly pissing an emo Oliver off

I guess Supergirl will still come out on Mondays? or maybe they move w/e comes after Arrow or move iZombie.

No shock, but CW has confirmed a #Supergirl, #Arrow, #TheFlash, #LegendsofTomorrow mega-crossover is coming!

Returning series “The 100,” “iZombie,” “The Originals” and “Reign” are on tap for the second half of the season, as is new show “Riverdale,” the Archie Comics-based teen drama.

I may actually watch S1 of this show now. Only had caught a few eps and followed the plot loosely.

I get the hopeful feeling the writing will be better next season. Less corny woman empowerment stuff. There's a way to do that without being so blatant and cheesey.
