In NY all spots have a bouncer checking for ID's no matter how old you look. Surprised it's not like that everywhere

Happened to me a couple times - once at a restaurant and another time at a bar. Both times proceeded to pull out all the cards in my wallet - insurance, work ID, library, but no go. Wasn't a big deal either time. Just found another spot down the street that took my license.

I was denied access to buy cigars from Total Wine in 2014 because I had not switched out my under 21 license for a horizontal one (I was 23 at the time). Even though my DOB was clearly printed on it, the guy still denied me. I switched my license to the horizontal one (waited like 2 hours at the MVD) and now buy my cigars from a local shop

my sister got into a club in vegas with my cousins ID who she looks nothing like lol...really just depends where you are, what night it is, whos working
i'd only be mad if it was a cool bar that you guys usually go to or had friends that were already there or had bought tickets for a performance or something
