Air Jordan 12 “Wings” - April 2, 2016

Prices been dropping at my local consignment stores to under $1k. They still have a lot of inventory and direct seem to be moving. Who knows maybe just not hot in my area.

SO much salt in this thread I swear.. Tell me your logic? OVO 10's and Supreme 5's have settled around $450-$600 pretty sure production numbers were less than 12,000 pairs world wide and numbered .... So tell me again why you feel like these will settle and fetch only $650? Only people dropping prices on these are people who spent their lunch and rent money and need it back ASAP... If those people call themselves "resellers" then they are going about the game totally wrong, find a new profession. And I from someone who owns both these and Playoff 12's they're not the same so keep telling yourself that, whatever helps you sleep at night lol

I am asking opinion of where you think the average price for these (DS) will be in 3 months.

Just curious what "uglier" jordan's were you referring to? @bigj505

you could easily say that the DB shoes all are uglier but thats a matter of opinion.

salt? how so? yall keep with this salt crap like people are really throwing shade

if you didnt know, Xs NEVER get the same amount of love as shoes like the 6s, 11s, 12, 13s, etc.

also, there is a difference in SETTLE and BOTTOM OUT.

YES, you can definitely get them for below 1k or whatever. That's part of the bottoming out process. When there is an abundance for sale and you have people motivated to sell.
The settle price occurs when pairs dry up and they become rare to find.

I am just basing my logic on simple economic principles of supply and demand. Sure the supply is limited to 12,000 pairs however the demand is high RIGHT NOW based on the recent release date. If you watch ebay auctions most have buy it now price 1k +. When the bidding ends the final price is usually 8-850 this is down from the 1k-1200 prices a week ago.

I just feel that when all is said and done this shoe retailed for mid 200s and will reach a final value of 500 ( very very good deal) - 700. This would produce a profit around 300 - 500 which is typically the best you can hope for. These aren't yeezy, they aren't BIN jordans. They are just an exclusive release. They are very nice and I love the 12 but this is my OPINION.

Edit--- I don't think Yeezys are a benchmark shoe. with that being said they do hold their value extremely well. that is why i referenced them.

I think you understood me wrong (reading comprehension bro).. I was more so agreeing with you in saying that people thinking these will drop to $650 is ridiculous

flawed logic.

correct however that shift will happen long after the 3 month period I proposed. I asked what do you think the price will settle at in 3 month.

Of course with in those 3 months you will have sellers enter and exit the market looking to sell their 'investments'.

3 months doesnt equal the settling price. you could taint an evaluation to be whatever you want i guess.

Would you prefer the term 'average' or 'median'  instead. When would the price 'settle'?

You never supplied your 'Uglier' jordan list.

So,

where do you think prices will settle in  3 months ?

what do you think the average price will be in 3 months?

is that a more appropriate question.

lets not get caught in semantics.

the basic jist of the question is the same.

What do you think the price will be in 3 months. right?

I never intended to start a debate on how supply and demand works, or etymology.

I just wanted to see what people thought the price would be in 3 months.

I have love for everyone regardless on what their opinions are and how they feel about me. So please no one get offended or feel slighted in any way. I am sorry if I made anyone heated with my comments or opinions.

I feel that it is reasonable to say that there will be a time you will be able to purchase the wing 12s for 650-750.... how long this period last I don't know.

i agree that with persistence that pairs will be able to be had for 650-750. Lord knows what they will be in 3 months.

More pairs are being sold. More people are wearing them. Less that will be available. I say price in a yr or two will be over 1k. Og jordans go for 500 to 800 depending on the shoe. Only way I see the price on these going down is if they do another release.

I did supply my uglier Jordan list
Settle isn't 3 months. That's short term.

He did he is making fun of my db13 ain't that right J

naw not just the db 13s.

i personally think many of the dbs arent that appealing including the 5, 6, and the 13. actually, the 5s are cool but they are no where worth that 800+ they were (are?) fetching.

I'm going to stick with the price inflating over the years
People are going to have a hard time finding a legit dead stock pair in five years
There and will always be tons of fakes floating around runinging the game but it is what it is
Will they fetch over 2k in five years well see u doubt it but you never know some sneaker heads are willing to dump money for limited shoes

I need assistance from an admin or user. I'm having trouble finding the location to sell my Wings. I see all the listings for items for sell but I don't see where I can post mine. Could it be because I'm on a mobile device? I need these gone ASAP. Soon to be married life :rolleyes
