It's obvious these will be worth more in the future when pairs are dried up. But the main concern for resellers is to flip them asap when the hype is still high. As more pairs enter the market, price drops and they'll have to wait before the price goes back up. So why should they hold onto a pair and either sell it for less 2 weeks after the release or wait a year+ just to sell it for the same price they could have gotten during week 1? Even if the price goes up in the long term, that extra profit would have been made back through other investments during the duration.

Traded mine yesterday for a pair of PB Yeezy's I was trying to look at these as a replacement for the playoffs (which I didnt get). So when I won i was hyped. But the more i looked at them and the more i realized i wasnt really digging the gold wings. I decided to get rid of them. I was going to Oop them to a friend for retail, but one of my boys hit me up and ask if i would trade for PB yeezys...so i said **** it and made the trade.I will wear the yeezys a lot more than i would the Wings..I know in a few weeks or months, I will regret it.

Rico Suave, you're correct. Too many people care about the value of the product instead of being glad to own them and make memories with them. Most of my shoes I love because I always dream of owning them. I have White, Black, and Varsity Red (Chicago) 1s, Michael Jordan's first shoe, the one that started it all. I wear them all them almost all the time and enjoy having them in my in my collection. Black, Bordeaux, Light Graphite, Midnight Fog (Bordeaux) 7s, ever since I seen the Hare Jordan poster I wanted them. The 7s are one of my favorite models, when I secured them I was so elated. They're the most worn shoe in my collection. I care about the shoes, their history, and significance. I don't care if they're worth $300 or $500 I wear them and enjoy them.

Can't consign with you bruh.
I don't keep shoes as investments. I keep them because I like them.
If I do get my hands on something that's worth something that I don't care for, I'll just move them and keep the change.

And to clarify I love the wing shoe I got the whole outfit to Match just in case the price falls if it dips around 500$ I will wear them I promise you that
