Went to my local NT and exchanged my 1/2 size down USAs for my true size in the mic drops. Would have gotten the USAs but they didn't have any. Mic drops are definitely better in person. I'd rather more color in my shoes, but I really need a new pair of hoop shoes so I'll live with the lack of color.

After trying on multiple pairs I say the KD 9s are TTS unless you have narrow feet. I have average width feet and going my true size the width is definitely spot on and length is maybe about 1/4 size long and not really noticeable. Can't wait to get these on the court tomorrow.

Did you do this while wearing basketball socks? (nike elite socks or something?)

I finally got to play in the KD9s today. I have the Preheat. I'm not sure how the traction on shoes without translucent bottoms are but these took a while to normalize on the court I was at today. It was a very dusty court, and I slipped a lot. Had to wipe pretty much every possession. I eventually put water on my hands and did a quick wipe, was pretty good for the most part after that.

On a positive note, the zoom is real deal. I felt a step quicker and thought I could jump higher in these things. And the comfort level was top notch. I have a thing for springy but flexible shoes. My favourite setups over the last few years have been the original hyperrevs and the 2016 hyperrevs. These are on another level. I definitely like these more than the LeBron 10. I just hope the traction issue was a one time thing. I might have to buy another CW without the translucent outsole.

Yeah, a great performance sock if you like a lower cut. Plus, they go well with lows like the KD 9

Agree 100%.

My foot is the same but I prefer a tighter fit when balling so I went half size down. I tried them on and CL 2016 on the other foot. I prefer the kd9 cushion set up.

@kookoo89

reason why I haven't hooped in my Pre-heats yet. I just know the translucent rubber is gonna fail me on the courts I play on.
I'm really hoping it improves over time because my usual court isn't just for ball. It's multipurpose and a lot of kids use it for general activities. Going to stick with my Lillard 2s on that court while I figure out an alternate.

I want these shoes so badly, but i don't know which size to get. I always use 2 pairs of socks when i hoop and i'm using custom insoles this season due to tendinitis in my right knee. I,ve always used the size 11 in my shoes (Kobe X Elite, Lebron XI, Clutchfit Drive 1...) but I don't know if the insoles will fit well in these in my true size since you are saying that these fit long. Someone can help me find this out? I don't have any store near to try these out and i don't want to deal with having to exchange them for a different size

If you're using an insole and double stock, I'd say go TTS on these as a lot of credible reviewers also saying .5 size down is best for fit. Break in time may take a while but a knit has more give than other materials.

If you are wearing thicker socks def go tts, again the problem is with the lockdown if you size down they might be too tight.  While going TTS may leave you with some extra toe room but with the thicker socks that is less of a problem.  This all my experience btw as you know the best way is to go try them on if you can with the socks you plan and insole you plan to wear
