Nike Air VaporMax

The airbag on that triple black ID doesn't appear to be as dark as the NikeLab release IMO. Maybe it's the lighting but it appears the ID option is a bit lighter thus giving it a bit more on the dark grayish tone.

I was gonna say the same thing. This one is smoke. The NikeLab bubble is like piano black.

Another example is the Kobe XI ID - the black Flyknit was more dull on IDs compared to retail colorways. I'm sure the weave on these will be different, along with a slightly different sole.
 
I have the Labs, and if that is not an 'ashy' black FK, I prefer the iDs.  As soon as those can be confirmed as a true black, my Labs will be on the bay.  Can get 2 other pairs with the proceeds.  I prefer the bubble on the iD.

Also, If you can't get a reflective swoosh and anthracite in the knit, all black ID is worthless... the colored air bags are cool though

Based on the description of those IDs... it sounds like the black/white upper doesn't allow you to chose swoosh color, but the all black upper does? Am I reading that correctly? Or is it just the black bubble allows the different color swooshes?

The black sole options includes the additional swoosh colors.
 
So the Nike ID version may have a SLIGHTLY lighter black midsole and not the exact same color swoosh..

Close enough for me. Will cop over ridiculously priced resell NikeLab or CDG.
 
I finally got over losing out on the TB and happy about saving money and then they do this. Oh be still my heart
 
The Nike ID options are nice but I can't make any because I live outside the states.

Gonna need Nike to GR a black based colorway.

Black with volt or clear sole

and id love to see the black/white upper option...maybe with a black sole
 
Will cop a pair of all black IDs to wear to work during the Summer. Will also try to finesse my way into wearing them year-round :lol:.

Repped. Was looking at sneaker news release info and says dropping at Nike and Ebay, but doesn't say if in-store only or online as well.

These will be a Good Consolation for missing out on the 3/26s.

I would have preferred the 3/26s, but I can work with these IDs.

Birthday is 3/26.

PLUS, resell prices on the 3/26s is No Bueno!
