Has anyone else noticed that shoes are starting to be priced lower than believed. Started with the cp3 being sold at 115 instead of 130. the melo at 135 instead of 160. the jordan 30 at 200 instead of 225. and now it seems that the kd will debut at 150 instead of 180+. Also rumors that the hyper dunk will also be priced around 130 with flyknit. usually flyknit means expensive, but maybe they figured out how to lower costs.  I believe nike is feeling the pressure of their competitors especially under armor and the currys. Do you think that the price of new shoes will continue to fall and be closer to that 130 price point?

Yeah its an active approach from Nike, they saw the markets reaction and have now gone back on pricing

i don't know if you talking bout the currys. but at the end of the day kids want to play in shoes of athletes they look up to. and right now curry is the hottest player in the league. so his sales are through the roof.

but do you think it will continue? or will they start to increase once curry's shoes go down in sales or become non-existent.

Curry's Under Armour kicks have a small impact on Nike's basketball sales. Nike are their own worst enemy by essentially flooding the market with a ton of simplistic shoes and the consumer has finally come to their senses and have stopped purchasing at the overpriced MSRP. This happened in the late 90s/early 00s and it is happening again.
