Some NSFW language in the clip:

Which eventually led to this:

UFC former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was arrested and booked into an Albuquerque, New Mexico, detention center Tuesday for violating probation.

Jones, 28, was processed into the Bernalillo Detention Center at about 10 a.m. local time, according to facility records. Jones is currently serving an 18-month supervised probation sentence, which was part of a plea agreement he signed in September stemming from a felony charge for leaving the scene of an accident.

According to a spokesperson for the Albuquerque Police Department, Jones was cited for drag racing on the evening of March 24. Additionally, Jones was cited for equipment modifications, a license plate issue, failure to maintain a driving lane and exhibition driving.

On one hand I kinda feel for Jones b/c it's clear that this cop has it out for him. On the other, this bamma is beyond luck to be driving after all of his other transgressions. The whole interaction is  :smh: He just kinda screwed himself....

hope his match is still on...jones is an entertaining guy

Jon jones thinks he is important and society needs him. ufc will be fine without him. Look for him to land in bellator fighting king mo for $30k.

JJ: How do you sleep with yourself?

Cop: Mostly on my left side, sometimes on my back.

JJ: You disgust me.

Cop: Well, the feeling is mutual.

hahahahahhahahahhahahahha. That is one witty ***** cop, the whole exchange was childish and ridiculous but Jones kept digging himself in a hole.

Baited him the whole time...you're 100% right...dude kept digging himself in a hole.

As I saw in the comments section on ESPN, he should have his lawyer's # on speed dial. Not sure if it would help in this situation, but still...

Considering what happen last year with him, I thought it was Jones fault. After seeing the video I don't feel that way.

Him being pulled over didn't make any sense. So two cars were racing? The other car slows down, and doesn't get pulled over? Jon doesn't slow down, but he wasn't speeding and you didn't charge him with reckless driving? Instead you give him a bunch of bs charges including his car being loud.

I think the interlock had a lot to do with it. Does anyone know if it's on your driving record when they call it in? The cop asked about it twice.

I was thinking maybe he assumed he was driving drunk and was going to be famous.

I think he was at a light with the Cadillac and they looked at his car, and he might have revved his engine like they were going to race.

Would've gotten extra disrespectful with the comments if I wasn't guilty. "How do you sleep with yourself" just don't cut it.

Just about the only thing you can do at that moment.

Jones really is an idiot. I'm glad we got rid of his bonehead brother too.

Yea I was like...what is he calling the lawyer for exactly? The lawyer can't make the cop NOT give him a ticket.

It all depends how good the lawyer's "game" is.

Drag racer / Professional fighter

The greatest multi-sport athlete since Michael Jordan

Not even close. There's a reason the UFC is allowing him to come back and fight. Any other fighter would have gotten the axe.

And that reason is because he's the greatest of all time.

- Props for speaking up and at the same time for not going to over the top, cop is acting and sounding like an annoying nuisance.

- Did not hear the word pig at all.

- He is the best fighter there is. Yes, UFC needs him

- Lawyer should have answered. Just sign the paper and leave. If you got the money, Tickets can / will be dropped.

- He needs to get out of New Mexico or whatever that trash state he lives in.

Yea this post isn't biased at all. Clearly Jon "crackhead" Jones has been a model citizen since he came to UFC.

We're not talking model citizen  shoot half these athletes y'all idolize aren't model citizens

We talking about if the UFC needs him and the answer is yes. He's one of the greatest, if not the greatest, fighter ever who's ENTERING his prime and the UFC doesn't need him? That's insane.

Don't really know the law. But how is it a violation of parole when he hasn't pleaded innocent or guilty on all the charges. Any decent lawyer will knock that all down to a lesser offense that may go below what is deemed bad for his parole. Guilty until proven innocent? A warrant goes out on what seems like 5 normal traffic violations?

Either a target on his back or they're making him a punching bag/lesson for others. We hear of some crazy cases where the DA is basically using a particular case to win another election. Can't remember specifics but it was like a first offense for something minor and these people were getting thrown the book.

That cop is the ultimate troll, he knew what he was doing, he knew the video was going to leak

Not a fan of JJ and dude's a bonehead, but the cop was petty as hell.

"Why's your car so loud?"
