7-11 remind me of day old movie theater food. Like barely a notch above a gas station's food standards.
I've never seen commercials for their food though
I've ate their big bite hot dog and glazed donuts when I was younger. I also noticed they sell pizza, taquitos, fries, and wings. Never seen all those sandwiches in a 7-11.

Nothing wrong with Chinese. Whenever I'm craving authentic Chinese I hit up my local Panda Express since it's always fresh and fast.
Del Taco hits the spot. They had two fish tacos for only $4 for the lent season. I don't think it's valid anymore since Easter is over.
Don't sleep on wienerschinitzel though. They have like 4 hot dogs for $5 or some mess like that. Plus, the commercials are some of the best like this one:

It's not that the meat itself smells "bad", it's the way it's prepared/seasoned, etc by the race/religion who cooks using this type of meat.

Changs smashes on Panda Express. Panda's meat is barely palatable. IDK where they get their chicken and beef from but it's garbage *** quality.
But...For some reason, Panda's honey sesame chicken be fire. IDK what it is, they only bring it out like twice a year for a limited time only and the chicken definitely tastes better.
Their shrimp is straight too.
