The Official Jordan XXXI Thread

I never understand when people say they should stop making more colors.
If you are done then feel free to move on.
There are a few PEs that I secretly hope will release so I can have dreams until they officially pull the plug

I also wish they would release more colorways, such a beautiful shoe.
The 31 has been a success in my mind. The best flagship model in many years.
It's not easy to produce a shoe that has mass appeal to both the players and the casual wearers.
There is still a lot of colors that were not touched upon that would look great.

Been waiting to see someone post on the Blackcats that released on 3/11, but nothing yet. Seems like the mindset is, wait until a discount then post a review on the traction. Not mad at that at all.

I purchased these on release day. Do you want to see a photo on the feet?

I can't think of a bad colorway besides the upcoming royal. Anyone care to share what colors they thought were bad?

For my tastes, the Shattered Backboard and the Concord Mango did nothing for me.
The Space Jams was another I think they could have done better.

Just goes to show how everyone's tastes are different.

I actually like the Royals a lot and will purchase on release day.

I still love the XXX. So many PEs that we didn't get and such a short run due to known reasons.

I never realized this but you're right about the 30's having a short run compared to previous models.
Perhaps it had something to do with the 31 being the featured shoe at the Rio Olympic's.

That is the great thing about this hobby.  Everyone has different opinions.  I loved the 29s, hated the 30s, and love the 31s.  I think most of my hate for the 30s stems from the fact I loved the 29s so much and they went in a different direction, it seems.

It's because of the fact that the original xxx was scrapped so they didn't really have a lot of time for the released xxx. Kinda was a bridge solution to get over until the xxx1 released.

I would love to purchase a pair of these navy/yellow Michigan PE's. Just a solid colorway, colors work really well with the XXXI design.
I love these so much...plus I'm a Michigan alum, so yeah I'm biased.  Regardless, by now I have little to no hope that they'll ever be made for the public...

Just did a massive OP update. All Spurs pairs finally added, plus three Monta Ellis pairs, two new Orlando Magic pairs, new pictures for two Jimmy Butler pairs, and I created a new section for Other/Sample pairs where I added the Snakeskins and the red lows.

There are, as of today, 121  unique colorways.

Check out the OP and rep it if you haven't already, please!

Was just trying to get an idea of the traction since it has a solid bottom, if you use them for hooping. There have been alot of complaints about the translucent bottoms for the folks that hoop in them.

Sorry but I strictly use them for casual use and cannot give any input about the traction.

Nah that Carolina women's PE has been in the OP since not long after the first men's one was posted. It's been there longer than the pink men's one or the mostly blue men's one. It's almost like an MPLS colorway.

Spoonie you mean to tell me as long as you followed this thread you've only purchased one pair?!?!

I purchased USA's, Fine Print's, and Battle Grey's. I sent back the last two. The USA's really got me excited for this shoe and I was looking forward to buying a ton, but I just feel a lot of the colorblocking wasn't that great. Decent, but not great. Some of the PE's were really nice, but of course we don't get those.

yeah like I said, I probably just overlooked them, but a grey/Carolina colorway almost always looks good, IMO

Last thing ill comment on this thread cause I'm ready for the XXX2 at this point

All pairs with white toe fading to a dark color were trash
None of the lows interest me

Best colors were the Bred and the Chicago
