Runner's World Review
Award Winner: Best Debut
The Odyssey, a new premium stability shoe, is one of Nike’s first new models since the company declared a return to taking running more seriously—and the commitment shows. Designers combined several proprietary features to create a shoe that deserves to be named after Nike’s classic stability model from the late ’80s. Zoom Air provides responsive cushioning underfoot. A three-density, segmented midsole supports the entire arch side while letting the foot transition smoothly through the stride. An engineered mesh upper locks the foot down. Testers commented on how comfortable the shoe felt, and on the smooth, light ride it provided without sacrificing control.

I bought a pair since this thread was created.

Ride is pretty stable, yet the zoom still gives nice cushioning.

My only complaint so far is that their ugly.

I bought the black pair for walking around since I have flat feet and was getting tendinitis in my achillies.

My pair should be in by the end of the week. I ordered the black/green/red ones from jackrabbit.com. they have them for $105 and free shipping. you can also use a $10 coupon available on retailmenot to get the price down to $95. i think the coupon is only got thought end of april though. i haven't bought a running shoe in forever but this model really caught my attention. it is getting great reviews from the running world.

it's a really great running shoes.. but it all depends on what type of shoe you need.

if you look for something more stable, cushion than your typical lightweight (neutral) runners, this would be the one to go. The Nike Zoom Structure is good too. The Odyssey would the next level higher.

I personally think the zoom could be a little bit bigger..but I wear motion control/heavily cushioned running shoes.

I love them so far. Really comfortable and lightweight but I don't run so for me to do any in depth review would be pointless. plus these are my only recent runners so I can't really compare them to anything else on the market.

They are without a doubt the best work shoes i have ever worn, and i have been through tons.
