Belgium has several well respected fashion designers (Martin Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester, Raf Simons) but as a whole we're far from the level of cities like Paris, NY, ...

That's a little much but outside of the entertainment industry fashion doesn't seem that big here.
LA is super casual and doesn't compare to somewhere like NYC. Only thing that's really noticeable is the try hard hipsters
