I didn't realize the lace cover was leather instead of suede. Made me not too happy.

I hear you but I personally have no regrets. I believe these will be available for $50-60 in due time.
 
Only really forward to the OGs maybe if some other exotic colorway comes out...but only the OGs for right now I'm checking for
 
This thought just came across my mind. These websites that show the these shoes deconstructed...could there be any legal action by Nike?

I'm not sure the $160 matters. Nike just thinks that the consumers like painted midsoles instead of suede for some reason.
The grey toe 13s had painted midsoles and the new black cat 13s have a painted midsole for some dumb reason.
 
Nike is just tugging our nostalgic heartstrings. These,the Vicks,Griffeys,the other penny models. Removing tech,replacing carbon fiber with hard TPU mimicking actual fiber patterns and color. I get that businesses need to make money. These are worth 125 max.

Already got the og cw on from the last retro only ones i want are the black royal up there

This is my favorite Penny shoe.. and I thought I was the only person that this bothered. Cutting corners again.
 
guess nike feels they'll go to outlets anyway so why bother?

cause the outlet price is prolly still double or triple their cost
 
Very surprise to see the away cw in hk tonight. Instant cop stright here no excuse. I've never own the 4s now I do! Always been a fan but after the 3s I stopped. Here a quick snap from the store. I go same size as the penny 2. Feel snug n forefoot seems to be comfy. Not sure they have zooms in the front or not.

Same fate as for the Penny 2 ASGs, when those go below 80, I will cope twice and I can only agree with you! Release the Phoenix and al OG Magic colorways and people will buy them!
