GOAT APP legit?

I could see someone making an offer on a shoe. Then forgetting it. And then not having money so they return it. Sounds like luck of the draw if you are selling on there and I'll just hope it doesn't happen to the pairs I have listed. I have had 5-6 pairs on for a month and have only sold 1 pair and every pair I have for sale is the lowest price available. Seems like some are sitting or people just do not have the funds right now with all these summer releases that have been dropping.
Are they J's?

I see nothing wrong with them selling kicks that were returned, it's called buy remorse, wrong purchase they maybe couldn't afford anymore.

Goat isn't selling damaged shoes to customers because they could just get charged back and the customer gets a refund and keep the kicks

Y'all being too anal and thinking someone especially a company providing a service is gonna try and get one over on you.

If they are going the extra mile to accept the kicks and verify they are authentic and exactly as described and them being anal about condition of the shoe. I wouldn't be worried too much.

I would have no worries buying a DS shoe on goat, if I ever do and there's a problem trust me... The complaint will be heard and known

I think it's a good return policy, I used it on my first purchase from goat. I got flu games and the pair I got was pretty thrashed, like clearly DS but these should've been B grades. I'm not that picky I can live with glue stains and minor imperfections but there was areas of the shoe that looked terrible, the midsole was like smashed in on one side.

Did a return and used my credit to get a pair of OVOs. Just ordered two more pairs off Goat, I used to only buy from retail chains and what not...too scared to get scammed from eBay

Good to know you stuck with GOAT after the first bad experience. Then again they gave you a credit lol.

Kind of annoyed - had 4 pairs of sneakers shipped to them at exactly the same time. 3 of the 4 were delivered. the last one is missing even though the time stamps for all of them are exactly the same up until delivery. gonna be a hassle figuring this out.

Had one out for delivery to them but ended up getting back to the post office? :nerd:

Wanted it to get verified and cashed out already

Don't think that's goats fault but weird

this has happened to me twice. i have no idea why it happens but it seems to get delivered the next day. very annoying. both times i asked them about it they just ignored me until it was delivered. so you should be good, just gotta wait longer. i know it's a usps thing but honestly GOAT has been getting sloppy.

How are they getting sloppy?

How have things been for people selling on here
I rather do that then deal with a third party

Also which one of these sites has ex-cons working for them

Giving someone like this your personal banking information to deposit money who has done time for CC fraud don't sound like a good idea

That's StockX. I haven't had any issues with GOAT.

The issue isn't with goat, it's USPS.

Just mentioned it in here since I was wondering if it happened to anyone else since out of the about 40 packages I've sent them, this is the first time it happened.

Update, it was in fact delivered yesterday. Found it weird how it was out, came back, then got delivered.

No it was on a Monday

But ended up getting delivered that same day, just odd

Got my first pair from them.
Pretty quick. Took about a week.
Packaging was good. Looks like they care about all the details. The shoe box was in good condition as well.
For sure will order again.

I've sold my fourth pair just yesterday. Just mailed them out today. Seems like a great service. I just wish more people used it and more less known shoes were available.

I've sold a serious amount on GOAT. My seller rating is 206 to give you an idea. The only thing that bothers me is the upcoming direct deposit fee they will start charging and when they made the commission fee 9.5% + $5. The 9.5% was fine previously but tacking on the $5 is seriously annoying and adds up over time. Overall, I'm happy with the app. I've scored some good deals on it and have gotten rid of all my Jordans for the most part (save a few 11's and the Metallic 5's) as I went full boost with the UB and NMD's. Strangely enough, my first boosts were the OG Purples in January 2015 before the Kanye West and hypebeast trend took over. Back then, you could walk into a FTL and just try them on.

Edit: I also love not having to take pictures after your seller score reaches 150.

You talking about the 2.9% right? Thought this was already in effect. If not, when will it be implemented?
Email them. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only way that works quickly.
the 2.9% is not implemented yet for sellers who started selling early enough. 9.5% + 2.9% + $5 for sellers is a serious hindrance to me in terms of selling there. I don't see myself selling there too much once their fees are basically the same as ebay's to me, but I have until july 2017.

Most definitely agree. Just started selling in mid July so I'm probably part of the latter. Not the smartest thing but I have my amount chilling in credits. I heard that they sometimes have promos dropping those cash out rates though.

my hope is that if i've sold enough by the time next year rolls around i can ask to have my 2.9% waived or i'm just moving to stockx / back to flight club

Goat over stockx any day..
lol i know people been saying this and i used to be in the same camp but i'm 50/50 on both.. stockx processes their sneakers much much much faster than goat. have had no issues with stockx so far, except their fees are a tad higher. as far as that fake education scammer or w/e being a part of it, as long as they're still dumping money into my paypal it doesn't affect me.

Quick question. I want to buy something on goat. I went on there and saw my size (3 sizes available) so I notice at the bottom it says listing may be new with defects. I click on the learn more and no pictures pop up. Generally it would have pics of the listing that was the one with defects. Does that mean that it isn't defected? I tried emailing goat but they haven't responded to me at all.
