You may have the disposable income but for most this is their shoe they have to play in the entire season, if not more. This isn't a $10 lunch that you can write-off, it's $160+ shoes.

Reviews should always be taken with a grain of salt but if most reviewers are saying the same thing, they're probably right.

I definitely don't have the disposable income being that I'm married and priorities have taken over pleasures. Before I got married I had at least 8 pair of Kobe V & VI. Too broke to get the VII, only 2 pair of Kobe 8, no Kobe XI cause I was saving for my car, only two pair of Kobe X, one pair of Kobe 11 and it was the last pair that came out and now I'm on one pair of A.D.s that were a Christmas gift. I work at a company where I get gift cards so I can spend money that's not mine but I definitely don't have the disposable income that you keep on implying.

I personally don't go off of reviews because what works for some might not work for me & vice versa but I am going to try out for myself, and that's with anything that I purchase.

Nope.  Not every shoe works for every person.  Plain and simple.  I've had excellent experiences in shoes that multiple reviewers have said were crap.

Even though they were pretty good out of the box, they broke in gradually over about 4-5 sessions for me. Not a deal breaker for me at all, but i can see a lot people playing in them once or twice maaaybe a 3rd time before they just give up. Especially when the reviews have been mixed at best.

I wonder how fast these will go on deep discount because I plan on stocking up under 99.

I agree 100% on 100% of what you said. I'll use reviews as a guide only to see if they even sound good to me and if so I'll cross reference NT reviews (or I'll read NT reviews first then cross reference ).

Good question. I just got a $150 giftcard from work for meeting safety and quality compliance standards for the last quarter. Im heading to the nearest nike outlet and purchasing a NDC gift card bc ive heard you cant use AMEX gift cards on NDC.

the KD 9 has the best nike techs right now retailing for same price as the AD's.

KD9s have the worst heel lock down ever! Had to return some pairs bc of it. Only have a id and I put the "pre heats" on ice! The ADs are great for performance... the KD9s are a great shoot around shoe lol

No bull, I died waiting for them to release a Laker color XI elite. Got the carpe diem em, but the em was no where near as comfy as the elite. I guess the eulogies were close. A nice inline color would be great.
