2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

Man it's like people forgot Blake was the best player in the playoffs for the first two rounds last year. He's had to conform his game to get DeAndre to be as effective as he is.

Close to: Boogie, Paul George, Kawhi.

Chris Paul is more of a superstar player than Blake. Commercials don't make you a superstar.

Blake just has to stay on the court

Look at the way he played in last year's playoffs and the way he started this past season before being injured.

People really have forgotten how great of a basketball player he is.

Not only that, look how he started this past season before getting hurt.

last 6 minutes of crunch time, he's David COpperfield

I'll never forgive him for how he played against Houston in the deciding games.

Wade was having the Best postseason before Miami was eliminated?
Hmm....
was it better than kyrie's? i remember kyrie killed the pistons. and then did whatever he wanted against the hawks too. I think we just think dwade was super balling because we only remember the big games. I remember the games were he looked flabby and sick too. And they lost those. He had to average close to 30 for them to win.
OH I wasn't make that as a statement that was clearly a question.

Wade coasted through the entire Raptor series man, he didn't want to advance.

But he had the best playoff before being eliminated?

My eye test says hell to the inno.

He has issues in "crunch time" but he isn't david copperfield either. Thats an extreme.

Plus there's 48 minutes in a game.

Nobody is forgetting about Blake, he just hasn't maxed out for a long stretch. It's always in pieces. A series, parts of the season.

Breh blake was a top 5 player this year before he went down.

But I get it. Clippers playoff failures plus blake missing so much time has people forgetting how great of a player he is.

Like I said parts of the season.

Unfortunately he did get hurt.

Not forgetting nothing. He was great the first 2 rounds of the playoffs last year and the beginning of this season. Now do it for a full season.

In 2013-2014 he played 80 games and was 24 10 and 5 and was 3rd in mvp voting and played 80 games.

Is that not a full season of being elite  ?
