I need to cover the silver part ASAP, I could go buy cheap sunglasses for 20 bucks but I really like these and want to keep them as my daily. I already have a pair of dirt cheap sunglasses but they look super ugly and weird IMO.

I called lenscrafter and asked if its possible to motify and replace the silver part with another black piece. The thing is I believe these sunglasses are only made in this style, black and silver so IDK how I would get a black part. Also, the silver part is where the hinge is connecting to the front.

Please help, I think I will cover it with elastic tape for now but lenscrafter told me I could use nail polish. WD40 should get off the residue off the tape if I come up with a better solution. I could also remove the nail polish at any time but these are expensive glasses and I don't want to rush to fix this issue.

Thanks

PR 51OS are the style btw

Any kind of paint or marker is gonna look like trash. Either deal with how they look now or get rid of them.

Take it to a jeweler like iceboxjewelry, goldensun jewelry, ifandco, Jacob and co, and have them remake that piece in black gold, I'd recommend 14k, and then you'll have it blacked out.
