cops are taught to protect themselves and others when handling criminals.. someone yelled out gun and he was reaching in his pocket even with handcuffs.. he was warned and still kept going .. and the rest was history

Post the law that says the punishment for carry a gun as a felon is death.

You claimed it was, now prove it.

-Police are allowed to you deadly force when there is a threat of death or serious bodily harm to themselves or others, but perceived threat =/= actual threat.

And a man pinned on the ground, hardly poses that kind of threat

No one in this thread was there and knows the full story of what happened. Yet everyone here has already convicted the officers involved and says the cops are racisit.

Here's a thought, as a felon don't carry a gun, threaten people with that gun, disobey police officers and fight with police officers. What do you think would be been the outcome if sterling obeyed the cops and listened to their commands?

Here is a thought, the police shouldn't murder people that don't pose a serious threat of death or bodily harm.

What do you think would happen if the police pepper sprayed, or tasered Sterling, instead of executing him?

Owning a firearm as a felon, and resisting arrest, doesn't give the police justification to kill you. No matter how many mental gymnastics you try to pull to convince yourself otherwise

I can't believe how many racists there are on NT out of all places. The people you are talking about the latest Ultraboost or Jordan release with online only like you because they don't really know who you are or what you look like.  

When it comes down to it though, whenever things like this occur people show their true colors. As a white dude, I'm sad to say I lose friends every time something like this occurs.

Stop bringing it up like Sterling brought this on himself. He brought going to jail on himself, not being murdered by incompetent cops.

Again, don't know the whole story. But information has come out that he had his gun on his lap and disobeyed police commands to remain still and not move his hands but yet reached for something. People made judgements on this situation too with only hearing one perspective
