OFFICIAL 2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Need some help guys. Keeper league ppr. I kept dez and cooks. I have 1st pick. Of who is available who would u pick....lacy,l.bell,a.p.,elliot,l.miller,cooper,evans, marshall?? 2rb, 2wr. Flex spot w rb/wr/te league. Thanks guys

Funny how this was brought up on XM radio

I guess Cooper only had 7 red zone targets last season

I still like cooper tho

I like him too but it is definitely a very interesting statistic. I think if there are other options available where he is being drafted then you have to think about going in a different direction and not keying him and EVERY draft.

If I turn on the feature, does that mean teams can trade draft picks in THIS season's draft? Or does it only begin for next seasons, assuming everyone is back in. I'm a bit confused at the wording.

Lacy or Ingram in the second round?

I still don't trust lacy. I know people have said he lost weight, but he still looked fat as **** last preseason game. He will be better than last year though just based off of getting Jordy back and adding an athletic te

I kind of like Lacy this year

He has looked good in preseason so far and is also in a contract year

The thing is if I definitely want him I would have to take him in the second round

He may not be there in the third

Any other thoughts on Lacy?

I think when it says "next year's draft" it means this year, since technically it's the next draft? I'm not sure it's confusing . Try turning it on and proposing a trade and see what options it gives you. I don't even use the feature for my ESPN league. I just keep a Word document with all of the draft pick trades. There's usually no more than two of them per season anyway, and they usually happen close to draft day so it's fresh in everyone's minds and it doesn't even need to be tracked .

The thing with Lacy is that even after a dreadful season he's still priced very high. He may very well be back to form, but I'd be nervous taking him in the 2nd/3rd round. Too risky.

Generally it affects the following year.

Had this on my main league for years and it ever is rarely used in trades.

Keep in mind he looked good last preseason as well.  Ingram is the safer bet and is damn solid in the receiving game as well.

^ Yeah I'd much rather grab Ingram if I had to take a RB there. Injury prone but as solid as they come when he's on the field.

Yeah one of my buddies asked if anyone would want the option turned on besides him because he would be willing to trade down. Don't think we're going to bother. Especially because at this point in time this isn't a Keeper league. I tried getting everyone to agree to make it one but I guess people have commitment issues  .

Breshad Perriman (knee) said he has "no doubt" he will be ready for Week 1.

Perriman reportedly "showed little effects" of his knee injury in his return to practice Tuesday. He is unlikely to play in the third preseason game this week, but it would not be surprising if he is cleared for team drills in the near future. Even if he is healthy enough to play Week 1, Perriman is unlikely to have a big role coming off a lost rookie season.

Worth targeting late? I took him with my last pick last season but it obviously never panned out.

Got the 5th pick in the draft and am debating on Gurley v AP.

Leaning towards AP...thoughts??

For me its Gurley.

AP is old, his hammy is already hurt. My mind ties that in to Alshons Hammy issues all last year. I could be wrong and AP could continue to dominate but his body is going to wear down eventually and it could be this year. Maybe not.

Gurley at least catches the ball and is healthy.

Id take Gurley, but I would assume he is taken by then no?  I would think it would be Brown, ODB, Julio, Gurley taken in the first four.

In the same spot

If AP falls to me I think I would take him

In my league I think he will be gone and I am going to have to decide between Gurley, D. Johnson, and Hopkins

I am going back and forth between Johnson and Gurley

I'd go, in this order —

1. AP

2. Hopkins

3. Gurley

FWIW, I'm lower than the majority of people on "Tier 1 RB's" (Gurley, Freeman, Zeke, Johnson) other than AP.
