Stranger Things: Season4 in 2022? WTF

Just finished episode 1. Nothing really hooked me so far, but I really like the Stephen King/ Spielberg vibe. Felt like I was watching Stand By Me mixed with Dreamcatcher, but so far nothing really interesting has happened. Will give it 1 more episode before I decide to finish or tap out

@calibeebeeTap Out?

Yea right, see you for episode 3 Bruh

NETFLIX have the illest shows, and the worst threads.

Whichever Starts first NARCOS or Jessica Jones I am go to try something different.

I'll start a new Season Thread where ALL episodes can be discussed BUT, In the Original POST I will have 10 links for each individual EP.

With a main thread, SPOILERS won't ever be needed.

ANd the other threads won't need them either because, you won't go in Jessica Jones: S2/ep7 thread, if you are only on ep3

SO basically the OP will look like this at the bottom, with seperate links for each EPISODE, and just click the ep you are on, and DISCUSS.

Should work huh?!

episode 1

episode 2

episode 3

episode 4

episode 5

episode 6

episode 7

episode 8

Staying out of this thread until I finish, up to ep 4.

I'm feeling it so far :pimp: and I'm not into Sci-Fi/Horror at all.

Like I said, not skimming the thread until I finish, so this might have been discussed already - but does anyone get the vibe that Hopper and the 2 cops are Mike, Lucas and Dustin grown up (despite different names)? Or they just used same race to get me thinking

My mind is kind of blown right now.

Just finished the show last night with the wifey. We both loved just about everything, especially the music and the kid actors all put in work and really shined. I was fine with the ending as well. I'm interested to see if it gets another season though.

they need to release the score
By the group S U R V I V E.  Check out their albums on iTunes or Bandcamp.  They're releasing a new joint in Sep entitled "RR7349".  I'm a big fan of electro-synth/ambient type music and have been listening to these guys for a few years now.  They're great.

In the meantime, if you really want the show's intro theme to rock out to, check this extended loop.

Just use one of those "youtube to mp3" converter sites to switch to the format of your choice, drop into iTunes and bam!

Finally, wiith all of the chatter about what this show reminds folks of/draws from etc...check this article.  Breaks it all down.  Be advised, if you have yet to watch the show in its entirety and are one of those that thrives on the suspense of finding out what happens as you go...hold off reading this until you complete the season.  Spoilers included.
As a nostalgia nut who grew up in the '80's this show is right up my alley.  Looking forward to more.  Keep it coming Netflix and kudos to the Duffer Bros. for putting together a brilliant series.

This show really struck a chord with me--I've been itching all week to run through it again, which is rare for me to do this soon.

And can we talk about the intro of episode 1 prior to the opening theme song?  I haven't had a show grab me right off the bat like that in a loooong minute.

That scene in the gym where they put Elle in that pool was my favorite scene.

Also the parts where she used her powers to **** people up.

That sequence where she put on the wig was SO 80s lol

The 80's score is incredible. I almost wish the picture quality wasn't so good to give it that retro feel. lol

Just finished the show. Felt like every ep started to be the same scenes over? Show didn't bring anything new. Acting was good though.

Its definitely a formula thats been done but i really like that formula.

One thing i liked alot about it is it really felt like an 80s show. I feel like if it wasnt shot with an hd camera or watever it could if passed as an 80s flick where something like super 8 definitely felt like a homage to the 80s.

The whole parallel universes theory could add ALOT to the show but i dunno if they are going to go that route.

Im interested to see how they start the 2nd season. The writers are great tho so i think itll keep people in tuned.
