lol no im not naive to say Eli hasn't said ow when taking a sack just like everybody else has. But he has 100% dealt with farrrr less injuries than Ben. That's durability not toughness.

Eli doesnt even deny his injury history.

So on Wednesday, Manning was asked what he attributes his spotless injury history to during a teleconference with Philadelphia-area reporters.

"I think some of it is just trying not to take a hit, knowing your protection, not taking free hits off a blitzer when you think you're protected. and you're really not. Just knowing the assignment of what your protection rules are. And then I guess the other part is just being a little fortunate, and not getting hit the right way, or just getting rolled up on."

i like the emphasis on being fortunate cause i feel that plays a big role in this sport.

Ben is an entirely different beast. It looks like 3 lions attacking a god damn buffalo to take him down. Gotta hit his ankle, knee, and head because he refuses to go down

Just bc dudes aren't on the injury report don't mean they aren't playing hurt

Nobody in the league is 100% healthy everyone is hurting one way or another

Already agreed on that

Eli the type of guy to just drop to the ground before getting sacked anyway. Ben is like bring it all three 260-300+ pound dudes. Just broke a rib that's nice. And does that over and over and over again.

But Eli is more tough lol

"He's made more tough throws in his first two games than Alex Smith has his entire career" - Greg Bedard on Wentz

I think Ben and Romo are tough but they've missed a lot. I see both sides of the argument.

Eli has played through a few injuries. We don't know them all and I've seen him get his *** beat on the field and not even look at a ref. Guy is a soldier.

Bedard on what's wrong with the Packer offense:

- No motion pre-snap
- No personnel changes
- Rodgers forced to go "off script" too much (lack of three step drop and out)
- Rodgers throwing off back foot too much

mixed in point three is the receivers taking too long to get open

Being durable goes along with being tough
Like saying my truck is tough and built to last yet its always in the shop.

how has Ben missed a lot of games?

he's played 175 games out of 189 games in his career

So Romo not tough?
when you made out of glass you not tough. Durability goes hand in hand with toughness. Brett favre was known as the toughest QB, cause he never missed games..
iron man .
In baseball Cal ripkin was known as the iron man for that exact same reason. Don't get why it's that hard to understand. It's pretty simple .

So Farve would play with a broken bone in his back?

So according to F&M Tom Brady has had the exact injury Jimmy G. has had at least 4 times.. no one knows when though...

toughest QB not named Big Ben :pimp:

on his non throwing arm. you aint slick brady [emoji]128530[/emoji]

MM8 was the lowest graded QB for week 1 and ARod the lowest for week 2. Both against the Vikings D [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Cam next :nerd:

Yes...But Sammy probably gets killed too. :smh:

did you not see the points blaine put up? vikes willbe alright.

Romo is fragile . don't get how fragile can be tough. That's an oxymoron.
Yeah he's broken a lot. Unfortunate but Other QBs take the same amount of hits or more and don't get injured like that. I'm a Cowboys fan and a Romo fan but it is what it is. I call a spade a spade.

If anything, Romo is definitely tough. Dude's always hurt even when he does play. Dealing with back issues is no joke, trust me.

Exactly which is 14 games missed. Brady missed a whole season.

Who did? :nerd:
I know Skip Bayless said Manziel was gonna be good

The majority of NTers slurped the hell out of him

Yeah dudes were high on Manziel because he was literally a human highlight reel in college. People didn't know the extent of his drug/alcohol problems back then though. Did he like to hit frat parties and bars? Yes, but we just chalked that up to him becoming a 20 year old god on campus

I said dude's best case scenario was Jeff Garcia.. Tiny and not that fast.. Was funny during the combine his unofficial 40 was like a 4.5 something and you thought he might be quick enough to pull it off

Then the official 40 was like 4.7.. And dude even before the partying and heavy dudes and just flat out not caring dude never was solidly built

Russ Wilson runs a 4.5 and at least got some build to him at his under 6 ft height.. And Vick was fast as shhh and still more built than dude and had a canon
