Agreed 100%. Bill thrives in game script and preparing every week, not "building" the team. He always is prepped for next week.

On to Cincinnati :smokin

yeah totally. always a couple steps ahead. great situational awareness.

i mean, he's not awful like the Grigsons and Tannebaums of the world. but he's definitely put some teams together which glaring holes. a lot of which has been covered up by TB12 in many ways. and he's whiffed on more than his fair share of "high" draft picks.

I've always thought it was great how the Patriots took players that have had troubles/issues elsewhere and thrived in this system and have been a great fit.

Blount for example, dude hasn't punched anyone in a minute.

Pats are smart.. they focus on what guys do well and allow them to do that..

They have their key pieces that allow them to do certain things.. but with support guys they simply put them in a position to do the things the are comfortable with and do well

He has drafted the GOAT QB and GOAT TE while with the Patriots. Id say he has done just fine in that department. Plenty of busts in the first round every single year though. Not to mention he never has a high pick because they win so many games.

Who is better at identifying talent outside of the top rounds of the draft though? Who is better at getting value for production?

He put Malcolm Butler on the roster who was an undrafted free agent. He is now the #1 CB on the team making the minimum while Revis is making 17M elsewhere. He's getting almost the same performance for a fraction of the price. How's NY look this year?

He traded Chandler Jones and his upcoming deal for picks that landed him Malcolm Mitchell and Joe Thuney who are both getting significant minutes on rookie deals. Then he turned around and signed Chris Long for the low low. More production for a fraction of the price. How's Arizona look this year?

He's made some magnificent moves in free agency which is probably more important year to year than the draft. Have i mentioned Marty yet? All these moves are in the last year or so. Im just fine with the bad teams "hitting" on stud wideouts and D-lineman while BB acquires value and depth in free agency and later rounds. Its obviously working for him id say

He was. Then he kept Brady on as a 4th QB on the roster which he hasnt done since. He gets no credit for identifying Brady as a potential full time starter when no one else even wanted him period. Not sure why.

He also signed Vinateari as an undrafted free agent and Gostkowski in the 4th round. Two of the most accurate kickers of all time who have won him several big games were acquired back to back while other teams are struggling to find just a decent kicker. He identifies talent as well as anyone in the league at every single position; special teams included.

He's much more than just a great coach and it seems like any and every article i pull ranking GMs in the NFL has him at #1 , #2, or #3. Based on the last 15 seasons i would say thats pretty accurate.

That was sarcasm just in case you didn't pick that up

That chick would come with me to the South Philly chapel

speaking of Meek, I was in Suplex last weekend and the owner was saying how he comes in and buys kicks and is *****ing how he hates being signed to Puma and wants to be with Adidas. Man you are lucky Puma hasn't dropped you yet fool, Drake took your soul/sole, Adidas don't want you.

We discussed it in the team thread and I don't think a single person said they'd change to a different team if they move. We've been through too much for them to finally get somewhat decent and we don't enjoy it
