i think because this shoe has not dropped yet, so people are still curious, whereas the AD has dropped "for a while", so the "suspense" is gone?

Think it's mostly because this shoe is actually really nice and there's already a colorway that pictures have been released of that caught everybody's attention...meanwhile the AD is busy dropping basic TB colorways with zero hype.

huh? you're acting like hes a nobody. Before his broken leg he was absolutely next up in the NBA. People know who Paul George is, whether they think is is still a top player or not should be the real question. Which clearly he is not.

Maybe it's a Kobe homage, isn't that PGs idol? Maybe idol not the right word. They reminded me of Kobe 6s from day 1 and I bet Nike wants to capture some of the Kobe /LA fans $$$ since the Kobe stuff they're dropping is trash
 
I'm actually feeling the purple accents. Gives a little flavor to the shoe instead of it just being plain navy, grey and yellow.

Damn I'm kinda sad to hear that the PGs are narrow. I was so excited about the Drose 7s and they ended being too narrow for me. I was in actual pain in them even in the primeknit version. Might pick em up from NDC and return if I'm not able to ball in them.

If ya'll don't think that PG deserves a shoe, then who does?? Ya'll comments are baffling. 

Have ya'll thought about where Kyrie would be if Lebron never came back to Cleveland. That doesn't mean his first 2 shoes weren't dope bc they were. However Lebron coming back gave him a platform he wouldn't had had otherwise.

I think he meant household name as in people that don't watch basketball still know who he is. For instance, Lebron James is a household name.

I think my wife is a good barometer :lol:..
She'd know LBJ, Kyrie, Griffin, cp3, dwight, KD, Curry, Carmelo, Wade, thats about it. She wouldnt know guys like Dame, Derozen, demarcus, IT, Kawhi, etc and definitely not PG.

She knows a couple other randoms like horford and john wall. Oh and tony patker of course lol

Westbrook definitely deserves his own line instead of just wearing PE Jordan # line.

But yeah I think PG deserves it. He's just in a tough spot after the team blew up in 2013.
