Recording People and Posting it On Social Media (Stolen)

I got a boy like that, son snapchats way too much. Idk, it's bizarre that this is considered "the best country in the world" yet we do so much to escape reality.

At my company they research potential candidates social media. One guy had a myspace profile from maybe 08 with pictures of his friends and they were throwing up what can be perceived as gang signs. Needless to say he didnt get the job. And that is only one example

Look at these stories where when something happens to someone (killed by cops, suspect in a crime) They pull the worse picture of you off of the internet to paint the picture they want of you.

I only want to control what image is portrayed about me to the world so ask me before u take a picture or post something that doesn't come off the internet

This happened just couple weeks ago. I was trying to get my homie into the department.

He was doing well, scored 90% on the written test, passed the fitness and scored another 90% on the oral board.

He was very healthy, so I knew he'd pass the medical exam. He was ranked Top 10 of 1000 applicants.

He was definitely gonna get it..............

Background check comes. One thing to understand is when you test for our department, you waive your privacy right. So they ask for emails/screen names and passwords.

They followed his social media. Logged in his Facebook, went through his friends, went through his IG account...

Fast forward, they got his snapchat (which I told his *** to delete but he didn't) he kept saying that he has nothing on there.

Anyway, one night he went out drinking, and on snapchat, he's throwing out N-bombs left and right, lip syncing f*ck da police...

He got disqualified indefinitely the following week.

What kind of company do you work at where they ask for passwords to social media? Never heard of companies going to that extreme.

That's a few steps above the regular waive your privacy

Old boy was trying to get a job at the police department and he didn't think it will be a problem with him singing f the police on snapchat?

I tried warning him. I even suggested that he ONLY deletes his snapchat, and he can keep everything else.

He didn't think they would check his SC because everything deletes after 24 hours.
 
Glad that idiot didnt become a cop.

Seems like he would lie on police reports just cuz.
 
Only good thing about social media is that it weeds out the buffoons and idiots. Let's me know who to avoid :pimp:

I can't stand seeing males on their phone all day. I understand females but, majority of these cats are just outright silly.

Most of the dudes I chill with not eem on that social media crap.

I really don't understand what the big deal is. It's just a freaking picture.

Take this past weekend for instance. A couple of my close friends are smokers, so while everyone else is pregaming with liquor, they like to do it with marijuana. So before everyone came over, they decided to go meet up with their drug dealer to purchase some marijuana, and since I needed to pick up some drinks, I asked them to stop by on their way there.

So we get to the guy's house and he invites us inside. While he goes to get the stuff, I'm just sitting their checking my sm accounts and replying to some texts. When the guy comes back, I decide to take a selfie of the transaction in hopes of maybe getting my buddies a discount since I have a pretty decent following on IG.

You would have thought I had killed this guys dog or something. He starts going nuts, demanding that I take the picture down and asking what the f was wrong with me. I told him that I wasn't taking **** down and that he should actually be thanking me for all of the new business that I was about to bring him.

He wasn't hearing it. He threatened to kill me and all this other crap. I just sat there and laughed. All of this because of a freaking picture. Anyway, since it was getting late and I still needed to shower, I decided to take the picture down once he said we wouldn't sell my friends anything while the picture was still up.

Jokes on him though. I reposted the picture later that evening.
