Crazy thing is for this release I copped by luck at the last minute. Had 16 raffle tickets and missed on the SNKRS draw.
Good thing is by then we will have the app reservation system by then. Hopefully that will help with backdoor pairs.

I thought they already announced that. Like the 31's would all have shillouettes of the OG1 colors.

Doubt it.........they just announced the Black/White colorway for the 31s TODAY, and I found out that they also released them TODAY at the same time.
Plus, the Royals release is still several months away so I doubt they'll announce a Royals 31 colorway this early unless they are planning to release them earlier than the Royal 1s.

This is what everyone in the BRED thread kept saying. Now, that the truth has come to pass and everyone has put down their crack pipes. The reality is harsh. Though not as harsh 2013. So, that is the best you can hope for. If you can get the Royals in 2017 under $350. Consider it a reason to smile. If you cop at retail
Ask the people who 0/15, 20 or even 30. Raffles aren't a guarantee of anything. Camping and being one of the first is. Its also the hardest. Everything else is luck of the draw.

Will be camping for these and bringing an impartial friend to score my second pair if theres a FCFS. All raffles will be entered. From now on, in this thread ı'm all about that blue text life.

Yeah you should be paranoid because though Royals are highly sought after, they arent treated like breds or chicagos by the manufacturer. There wont feel like a push to satisfy everyone here. Bred n Chi are for the Jordan Bulls fan all over. The royals are fashionable. Its why the cw does well in the Euro part of the world.

Just my opinion but I think there's some overreacting going on in regards to the difficulty of getting the upcoming Black Toes and Royals.
The Banneds weren't limited but were neither a GR and there was a crap ton of manufactured hype based off the fact that it was the original colourway, and it was the shoe that was banned by the NBA. The Khaled endorsement also added hype too whether anyone wants to admit it or not.
It'll probably be tough but nowhere near as tough as the Banneds. Let's hope JB goes WC4 and Metallic 5 numbers with these as well.

nice, I have 01s so I will try all means necessary to cop for retail but no sweat from me on these but if I cop that would be great! If I do cop my size 11 I will unload my 01s, they run narrow and aren't as cozy as my 2016 black/reds or any of my remastered pairs for that matter

Yessir, I agree with that. The only reasons the B/red 1s got super hyped recently was because NIKE was really pushing marketing for full awareness of the XXXI's. Thats all it was, a clever ploy. From the ads, the TV plugs, putting the the "Anti-Gravity Machine" early listing on SNKRs App a month early. Also, it was also a clever way for NIKE to implement their new launch procedure with the wristbands and having to join NIKE+ to get the shoes from Niketowns. I think the royal release will be crazy but won't be as exposed and crazy as the B/reds were. Unless they do more XXXI's + I's campaigning to push the XXXI.

A red colorway in general is always more hyped than blue. I don't see these being as hard as Breds.
