He averaged 18/6/6 in about 15 games. (EVERYBODY puts up numbers in China).....then he got hurt. And played a few playoff games.
***** would've just learned a few lessons from Larry brown....and moved on. Sometimes, y'all don't realize just how short the 1 and donee stay in college. They are in college from August until March. After that.....they gone.
Might as well go make a million dollars overseas if you are projected as a lottery pick when you come back.

Of course we don't know for sure. But if there wasn't a rule that was mandatory, pretty much ever name on the list would have gone to the league straight out of high school. Most everyone was a top 3 prospect going into college, it actually hurt some of their stock by going to school where you're at the mercy of these clown coaches and their systems.

The difference for me is in HS all these dudes are dominating and getting buckets at ease but simply overpowering and being larger or more athletic. College or overseas gives you a better transition to the NBA on pace, size, and actually working for baskets and working on defense.

College doesn't do this at all. This is a huge fallacy. The NBA and the NCAA isn't a different sport but in some aspects, it kind of is.

Still a speculation. There's NO WAY to be assured the players you listed would be performing at the same level currently had they foregone college and went straight to the NBA.
If you're making this speculation, same can be said how one year of college was beneficial to them? Get what I mean? It's all moot and doesn't really go anywhere.

Successful NBA careers have nothing to do with Coach Cal when you're already a lotto pick before you even get to him.

That's fair and I can't argue that because if you're allowed to die for you country at 18 then yeah you should be allowed. However if we're gonna defend these players rites to enter the draft at 18 then we should also be fair across the board. Let the football players go too. I never see this argument made for them. It's okay for them to slave for the NCAA but not the basketball players.
Anyone who argues for high school players to go pro right away because of the unfair practice that the NCAA is. You also gotta stand up for all the athletes.

College for pro ballers is just dumb.. Total waste of time
Football is totally different because it's a contact sport. Grown men don't belong on the field with 18 and 19 year olds.

For sure, and like I said a few weeks back, it's even worse for football players because they're killing themselves and giving themselves brain damage and CTE and **** for like 3 years before they even have a chance to make money for their troubles.

Playing UNC, Duke, & Cuse in 2 weeks, is definitely different than playing Westside Nowhere Prep Academy. Your playing elite talent WAYYY more often.
