When will complaining Players learn that crying all the time and leaning on the refs like that does more harm than good.

Let the Coach plead those cases, you play Ball man and STHU

The Basketball Hall of Fame is the easiest professional sports hall of fame to get into. It's nothing like the Baseball, Hockey or even Football hall of fame.

Winning an MVP and averaging over 17 ppg for your career will get you in eventually.

When guys like Bill Bradley, Alonzo Mourning and Mitch Richmond are in. You HAVE to believe Rose will get in eventually. It's truly pathetic

So Brandon Roy will be in as well?

Rondo will be in?

Jason Terry?

Elton Brand?

Shawn Marion?

Amare?

Antoine Walker?

Roy Mercer?

Boozer?

How about Deron Williams?

Lamar Odom?

Mike Miller?

Shane Battier?

Kenny Smith?

Trust me Rose is already forgotten.... People will look back and say "I forgot Rose was a MVP before"

KD does always step up 'in the media' and drop some words to defend his mates.

He was really pissed about this Javale stuff....this is dejavu. I feel like I've seen this movie and how it ends. Numbers spelling out the same outcome.

is he not supposed to stand up for his teammates though?

or are you saying it's just an "act?"

No I admire it and he should.

Definitely not saying it's an act, that's as genuine as you will see from KD or from anybody taking up for someone close to them.

Really all I was saying is that was a dejavu moment, I feel like I've lived that moment before.......

Hold out Embiid & Simmons for the tank, Dario goes for 20/10/4 in a W over the east's hottest team

I'm sure he'll be the next one to be sidelined for a ridiculous amount time.

Edit: Unrelated, but Kanter & Gibson off the bench is damn good. Also got another shooter in doug. I do not know why Chicago gifted OKC two rotation players for a dude who was just in the d league

All they have to do is swap TJ's minutes with Sergio's.

So I went to the Sixers-Wizards game last night and I have to say that I hate Okafor even more now that I watched him in person. He is the laziest son of a ***** I've ever seen. They would have blown the Wizards out by 20+ points if Brett Brown didn't decide to play Okafor over Holmes for almost the entire 4th quarter. There's an insane difference between when he's on the floor compared to when Richaun Holmes is on the floor. He is so ******* bad on defense it's ridiculous. He just stands there and watches balls go by him or watches his man grab the rebound or put in a tip-in. Even when he "tries" to play defense he most of the time makes some stupid *** switch on a screen that he shouldn't have made and leaves his guy open for a dunk.

Embiid and Simmons didn't even come out and sit on the bench last night like they always do for games they're out for, especially home games that aren't even part of a back to back. They usually come out and warm up before the game regardless as well. There were a lot of disappointed kids that came out there to try and see them at least warm up. I'm pretty damn sure they're just pissed off about having to sit out games that they're perfectly healthy for. Tiago Splitter was on the bench for us in a suit so I'm guessing we're not planning on waiving him.

If I don't read that he was an MVP, I forget.

This is not a typo: Gordon Hayward dunks on The Greek Freak and a stare down pic.twitter.com/Az3lhpp5JR
:x

[/quote]He belongs with the Lakeshow

And being a White guy with pretty game, I can't believe he's not swimming in endorsements, his agent needs to go sell Used Cars for a Summer and then try Agent'ing again after he learns some ship

The NBA and all the national TV networks need to start explaining basic contract logic on national TV. The casual fan doesnt even get how the rookie extension works. It makes conversations so much harder to have.

"Porzingis is leaving NY really soon". With a basic understanding of NBA contracts you'd know that this has next to no chance of happening.

All that time you allot for Reggie Miller, Chris Webber, and Charles Barkley to stand up there and be idiots could be used to educate your fanbase.

This would be solved if they just hired younger people who understand all the other parts of the game and paired them with experienced broadcasters like Harlan/Marv.

That way you get great broadcasting but also analytical/cap/etc information from somebody who could educate the casual fan in a way that they might even become bigger fans.

Instead they just give these jobs to former players/coaches who rarely offer anything insightful or even entertaining save for JVG/Hubie/Brent Barry/Steve Smith.

So tired of the Barkley/Shaqs/Reggie/Webber's etc, all the respect in the world for them as players but I'm not tryna hear their views or opinions on anything basketball related at this point.

This is why I was glad when Bill Simmons and Grantland started getting a platform. But people didnt know who he was and they didnt like him either.

The amount of times I heard "Who is this guy" when Bill Simmons was on TV....

He's close to what I'm talking about but not exactly.

Simmons has no charisma on tv and is still too biased.

You need somebody younger and more interesting, preferably a female.

He was probably as close as we're gonna get to it. He checked the always dumb "You gotta put the time in to get your opportunity" box that the world loves to use to freeze out young people.

Retreads probably in all aspects of the league. :smh:
