would rashad mccants be able to flourish in this new league?

how about Bassy?

If Mccants wasn't lazy he'd been pretty productive regardless of the era. But this particular one, he'd be CJ Miles on steroids

Jimmy B stepped his game way up, can't do nothing but respect him.

I was getting a little sour on him last year showing some real diva tendencies and at times valuing himself more than he actually provides but he's made great strides this season so far and is flourishing as the unquestioned team leader.

I feel like that big 3...maybe even that whole Clipper squad with LO, QRich and DMiles would be absolutely filthy today with the sudden insurgence of new young dudes. No vets to beat up on them and break their confidence.

Money broke up that young Clippers squad.

Imagine having four young dudes that haven't made big money all being free agents the same year.

I feel like they all became what they were supposed to be.

Q rich was a power guard in college and morphed into the black Kyle korver. Miles had the knees of chandler parsons but he had his moments.

Yall in here getting delusional reminiscing on the good ol days . There's plenty of super athletic dudes in the NBA today that can't hoop. They just make 18 a year now.

Money broke up that young Clippers squad.

Imagine having four young dudes that haven't made big money all being free agents the same year.

On top of having no desire to retain them or field a competitive team whatsoever.

Brehs is on the water today

It was just a few days ago people said the early 2000's was horrendous basketball , now all of a sudden they'd be godsends in today's game which is supposedly the best quality it's ever been

On some real **** yeah most of them dudes sucked and were just athletic as all ***** but we once were hyped about what they COULD be. A bunch of them didn't pan out even close to what most assumed so here are..reminiscing

On Another note.

My frustration with Andrea Drummond is growing by the day.

We are 1-7 away from the Palace.

We need Reggie to return ASAP.

Darius Miles was an abysmally bad shooter. He shot 17% on threes and 59% at the free throw line for his career. But somehow he should've been Kawhi, a guy who shot 51/44/87 last year?

What's going on with dude? Seems like he hasn't development really at all but still can't be dominate when he wants to be

i don't rock with dude at all.

i keep telling people he's wild over rated with these empty *** numbers.

Hilarious a guy can give you 20 and 20 pretty often and knows damn well he's not even top 5 center in the L.

There was a whole posse of nters that wanted to coddle players and change rules to make it ok for them to not improve their skills like free throw shooting. Look at what yall have done to andre drummond.

kawhi and jordan butler are anomalies.

The growth of those 2 guys is incredible and highly unforeseen.

They aren't completely similar, but the Lakers currently have some similarities to the 01-02 Clippers.

By no means am I saying that's how they're going to end up, but from the youthful energy and presentation, to how NBA media has kind of latched on to LAL and their youth movement, reminds me of LAC back then

I'm very quickly losing faith in that core. I mean how far can a team go with Reggie Jackson as your best player? They have nice pieces but they lack leadership and a go to scorer. One that can carry a team when needed.

And yes, Drummond is a heavy underachiever. He has the ability but lacks the motor.
