I was talking with my Father tonight about Teams chances for Chips this year.

His rankings are as follows

Cleveland
Rockets/Memphis/GSW


He thinks (and I agree) Cleveland is a lock and if odds were better bet the house.

He said (and I agree) that GSW has lost there edge.
For one, nobody is scared of them because they lost last year.
For two(and I agree) they no longer have that killer instinct that made them so clutch and hard nosed.

When they added KD they added to what they built from ground up.
The grind was up so to speak.
Now (him talking still) they have so many weapons and KD can't close, and those other guys can be weaker in mind all year because KD can serve as a crutch.

He's handicapped them and other than Adding superior offense and above average defense and rebounding(which they didn't need) he can't close.

Long story short, GSW is f worded (according to him) (and I concur)

This reads like you and your dad just went deep in the tank on homer/fan-goggle analysis to convince yourselves the West is open

I don't like GSW and unless curry or KD get injured in the playoffs, I think GSW is taking it all and pretty good chance it's gonna be against Cleveland

If he cared about some agenda about the West being open, he probably would have talked up OKC at least a little bit.

Pops is 65, my man doesn't care about agendas, he lived too long to tell it like it isn't, or some other way than how he really sees it.

And Google, man I don't think he knows how to log onto a browser that isn't already pulled up on his work computer.

And he damn sure doesn't watch ESPN or whatnot, old reruns of Sanford and Son, Little House on the Prairie, Mash, Dallas/Knots Landing, **** he doesn't know ESPN is on channel 29/720. He knows nothing about that heresy

Late pass, but yes, I also was part of the Terrence Williams fan club. But after awhile, especially when he got in McHale's doghouse, it was a wrap. If you can't show something on a team where Luis Scola and Kevin Martin are your best players, and on the Kings in general, then it's probably time to get into something else. Just looking him up right now, he's been on 9 different overseas teams since he left the Kings, with also an LA Defenders d-league stint.

Wade won a ring like Steph. He was the man in Miami and Steph was the man in Oakland. They both scarified to win rings. The big three will have to perform well in the playoffs to win another ring. What happens if KD decides to jack up a whole bunch of missed shots?
