GSW didn't even lose by > 10

They got DESTROYED

They lack an inside presence

If I'm playing GSW lock up KD and Curry

Let Klay and Draymond beat you

Post up all day

Easier said than done though

KD + Kawhi would be the greatest thing ever though honestly, like watching to two aliens that came to earth speak in they own language.

Kawhi going to give it to KD every time they play though, he remembers the playoffs.

That's why he's my pick for MVP, there's just something about him and his will to improve and find another level.

You read about his background and how his father was murdered, you see where his fuel comes from.

It's telling that he don't do no Twitter or IG ****, just travels, studies architecture, spends time with his girl and works on being the greatest.

Him winning MVP/DPOY would probably be my favorite thing since Lebron first championship.

To have a player like him is a breath of fresh air.

Lock up the last 2 MVP winners and let the one of the most prolific shooters in league history beat you.

Seems legit.

Dame Dolla.

Boy reminding me of Hibachi but smarter.

Joe Johnson looked good last night too.

and Gobert.

I LOVE this Game!

The Year of Mike Conley begins tonight.

He not gonna live up to that contract, but he's about to have one hell of a season and make the all-star team. Belee dat

How would you do it?
They run a million pindowns and curls each game so I'd build a team with length AND quickness at all 5 spots so I can switch everything and defend KD/Steph in iso situations without compromising the defense.

Then I need a big who Draymond can't guard.

Basically, something like the Minnesota Timberwolves, or the Spurs. Only problem is, Minny doesn't have enough shooting, & LMA doesn't show up for every game in a 7 game series. Towns is also an unknown in that realm entirely.

Don't see Conely making no all star team

Gonna have no choice if the Grizz are doing well in the West. He's going to be the representative because chances are he will be the leading scorer. People just don't believe he's finally about to be put in a much better offense with the opportunity to score a lot more. This is really not the same Grizz team b

Fizdale still doin work:

“Marc is a passionate player,” Fizdale said. “I watched a lot of film and I saw that when he gets upset he finds himself away from the team. I immediately made him captain because of that. Because when you’re captain you can’t distance yourself from what’s going on. Even if you’re mad at yourself and having a crap game. Captainship is throughout the good, the bad, the ugly. For a player that great, being captain is the only thing that can hold him to a higher standard. He’s embracing that.”

He's doing and saying all the right things. I just hope he doesn't fall flat on his face this season

He just ain't as good as other PG's.

CP3
Steph
Russ
Dame

Can't see it.

A lot of ugly matchups tonight, though.

Lakers / Rockets will be exciting due to Houston's pace and DLo

Kings / Suns :x
OKC / Sixers :x (may be okay if Embiid goes to work + Russ)
Nuggets / Pelicans :x
Hornets / Bucks :x

Just not alot of marquee matchups. A few teams I'll like to see, but not on both sides

Can't see it.

He doesn't have to make it over another PG. He just simply has to make it as a reserve. Team last year was:

Russ
Steph
Kobe
KD
Kawhi

CP3
LMA
Harden
AD
Cousins
Klay
Draymond

1) I don't expect all the Warriors to make it again this year (probably only Steph and KD)
2) Cousins probably will not make it again unless he has some monsterous season
3) Not sure if both Kawhi and LMA will make it, just depends
4) someone has to replace Kobe

So, potentially 4 or 5 spots will be open. You have to account for Towns making it so take minus 1 away.

Fizdale seem like the happiest guy I've ever seen coaching, he's obviously excited about his opportunity in Memphis.

I know he can succeed as a head coach but that roster still worries me, I don't trust Chandler and to a lesser extent Marc's health to hold up.

Hopped on S&T section and something smelled right away. Clicked on this thread to see what I missed and yup...trash confirmed.

It's the ol' "let's make concrete proclamations off small sample size" time of the year.

NBA thread officially byke.

I'm just glad hoops are on my TV again...**** all the other ****.

I'm happy we taking a slow approach with Parsons. He could've played tonight, but they don't want to rush him back after two surgeries. He rushed back last season and got hurt again. I think we may see him Saturday against New York, though.

Marc's health worries me as well. But, I'm going to see what Fiz got. I was impressed at how he was able to develop Josh Richardson, Tyler Johnson, etc. in Miami last year. I'm expecting to see 2 guys come out of nowhere on the roster this year.
