Just last week Lamarcus Aldridge was talking about how he doesn't care about the all star nod and he's going to Punta Canta or somewhere in Mexico to take a vacation with his family.

“I’m older, so I’m not going to come home and be mad or anything,” Aldridge, 31, told The Vertical. “But I do think that it was wrong for Golden State to have four [All-Stars] and we’re a few games behind and only have one. It is what it is. I’m in this position and I’m going to enjoy my break and just come back fresh.”

Stuff like this is why Bleacher Report by and large sucks. Just take things completely out of context, put it on a graphic, and sell it to the masses.

So you guys are impressed by young teams that beat the warriors and put up almost 50 in a quarter huh?

Interesting..

I didn't know it until someone just posted it but watching that game it was painfully obvious GSW was on 3 in 4 nights at mile high altitude. They got ran.

1,100 new posts since I last checked in here.

Biggest takeaway catching up on the thread is I now know who Kendall Woods is. :nerd:

That arc is vicious. And the way that thang be gripping the meat :smh:

McCollum looks like a shady church going dude.

This and jae crowder smoking a pack of black and milds a day are the most accurate descriptions I've seen in a minute

"Tired." "Emotionally Drained." "Hungover." And it goes on and on. Look at the words being used to describe what the Thunder did (or didn't do) last night. It's laughable. These are words being used for a team NOT coming off the second game of a back-to-back where maybe those adjectives could have some credence. National media and other folks treating Russ and the Thunder with kid gloves JUST because of how KD left. I see right through it.

How about giving the Wizards credit for beating the brakes off of them and being the superior team? Wizards had Russ out there looking pedestrian and like a PG who doesn't make anyone else on the court any better.

I'm glad for this Wizards surge...and trust me, I know the wheels can fall off at any moment, but damn...sometimes credit should be given when credit is due. Case in point, last night. Thunder/Warriors was on Saturday...not Monday.

It really caught me off guard. He properly assessed both Russ and Wall

He wasn't really criticizing Russ either, he was simply highlighting the difference in how Russ and Wall operate within the point guard position

And for the most part.....that's how I see it.

I like to throw some shots at Russ here and there....but he's insanely talented. And one of the best 6-10 players out here.

But he takes stat hunting to another level. All great players stat hunt to an extent. With Russ, it's OD. And anyone with an objective basketball eye can see when he does it....and how it hurts at times.

Averaging a 30 point triple double over a course of a season is extremely impressive. But understanding the context of it....takes away some.

Agreed with the both of you. I was surprised to hear Barkley's comments last night at the half. I wish someone else on the panel would have piggybacked off of what he said, but it's hard to argue with Chuck and his assessment of Russ.

Kawhi Leonard has dominated every marquee SF match-up this year so far. KD, LeBron, Melo, George, Butler, Giannis(The one game Giannis played meaningful minutes was competitive) , hasn't played Hayward yet.

He's a tier one basketball player of which there are only four.

TJ McConnell telling bum *** Batum to "guarantee that" :pimp:

**** that clown for thinking they were just gon come in & beat us when we waxed them the last time we played them lol

3 game winning streak without Embiid & it looks like Saric might end up taking ROY if Embiid misses too many games

Anti what was taken out of context here

Washington is 17 wins away from their best record since the 1979 season.
They haven't had a 50 win season in 40 years? How?!

Saric turning out to be so nice. He's really grown since October. I thought he would be doing this at the start of the season considering he had like 4 years of pro ball under his belt before coming over.

Why even mention it if he not mad and don't care.

Agreed though. Kawhi or harden for mvp. Kawhi is so legit. Him and curry my favorite players in the L

Yup. More money. NBA is sponsorship happy at the moment and its just starting. Its one thing to be sponsored, another to change your name.

Agreed. They sold their soul. Way to make people take their joke of a minor league seriously.

Batum thought McConnell was Parsons

I couldn't find the exact clip on it's own, but after searching on youtube I found Barkley's comments in the beginning of this vid:

Put some respeck on alphabet's name. He held kiwi to 21 on 9-22 shooting.

Alphabet got his 22 on 6-12.

I agree with everything else you said in the post
