You do realize you just proved my point with that picture, right...........

He has a clear path to the basket right there and as you can see with how his feet are in that picture he instead stepped right back to where Love was to hoist up a contested three pointer. It was a terrible shot, not great defense.

On top of that, Love is grabbing Curry's right arm in that picture. Could you have picked a worse picture to prove your point?

LOCKED THAT BOY UUUUUUPPPPPPP!!!!

DEAL WITH IT!

Lotta folks really didn't take the kobe factor seriously

Though he was only a rookie, Bryant deterred his growth

Not even going to mention Byron Scott

The thing with me and DLo is that even with B Scott and Kobe in the fold last season, how good he could be potentially still bled through.

My optimism on DLO has nothing to do with the preseason right now, as good as he's been. You can just see it. At least I can. Certain things he's doing, and being so young and exhibting so much talent, and now LAL is giving him the ball all the time, it's just a huge perfect storm that suggest he's going to be pretty good this season and for years to come. And the most important factor is that you can tell he believes how good he is, and that confidence is a good thing imo

Look at the different schemes he's getting so far in preseason (I know, I know). The Nuggets play a soft defense and he blitzes them from three. The Kings show hard, he makes the corrects reads for assists while making his jump shots.

Easy solution. Just don't play in the preseason and you straight

Brett Brown said Embiid has progressed to the point where he will be playing back to backs this year :pimp:

Bro you were one of the people initially talking about how you don't see it in him and that you probably like Mudiay over him.

Not a shot at you specifically, since it was a hot take that was common every where.

Don't want to get my Leemealone on, but a lot of the initial hate for Russell came from the team he was playing for. People wanted him to fail.

So much to love with Russell.

Said it last season once I changed my tune with him in the beginning of the season, that's a starbwoy right there. Already plays with an awesome pace for such a young age. Gets to his spots effortlessly.

Reminds me of CP the way he navigates the P&R and midrange area.
Fam...

Just saw the last post from you and didn't know you previously noted you changed your tune. My bad.

I've just always been high on Russell, even before he was a Laker. So listening to those early hot takes grinder my gears lol.

Knew he was on a different level than Mudiay. I never was high on Mudiay and even got some flack for it on NT.

I'm not sure how many minutes RJ Hunter is going to play, but he can play. Love his combo of shooting and passing. Just a matter of him playing adequate defense.
