I think it can work if he hires smart people. 

People mock the "Lakers brand" and "Lakers family" stuff but I think that stuff can matter again eventually.

It's the extra credit, we just need to get to a passing grade first.

So if he hires the right people to do the leg work and we can have his cache and positive PR, it could be the best of both worlds.

I'm hoping that the Magic hire will galvanize everyone in the FO and put them on the same page since Magic's been a Laker face for a long time. Yup. Problem is and always will be backup PG when it comes to the team we have. not Deng, not even Moz, sure as hell isnt Russell.
