There's no archetype for things. He'll be more than fine.

He makes the team better and helps his teammates be better.

I agree with all of that. I just believe he might be better at SG than PG.

There's a lot of guys on this team who don't make PG easy for him, or anybody that would play PG for that matter.

Moz, Deng, Randle, Lou Will. Ingram for now (hopefully)

I would say that Clarkson actually learns to chill out a bit when he plays with Russell.


Even if we drafted Fultz... I would still go with Russell as the starting PG long term.

And move him up to the 2 for 10 or so minutes a game to play with Fultz or Ball... Creating a ridiculously amount of depth while we have the chance to add all these players.

Wall's speed and penetration killed us last night. He's quick on D, quick on driving and quick on the perimeter

Dlo needs to use his size against Isaiah both on D and O, easier said than done

We can't hit the draft again... that pick HAS to be flipped for sonetgung proven this year. just not enough hands to mold and develop all those prospects especially on the wing. Like I said before, I honestly think the team is in over their heads as is with the 7 guys we have now to develop.

Not really. I'd take my chances with Ball/Fultz over any of our young players except for maybe Dlo. And if we get our pick it's top 3 so the chance of getting a star is very high.

There aren't even any superstars out there worth trading for. Everyone talks about Paul George but he has Myles Turner and Indiana made hella moves this offseason and they're still struggling. If he played in a major market he'd be getting killed as a fake superstar but he plays in Indiana and broke his leg for team USA so nobody criticizes him.

Carmelo sucks.

Boogie? I'm good.

Jimmy Butler is the only one I'd want and Boston could offer more for him.

There are no secret get rich quick schemes here. Just load up on young talent and keep it pushing.

I'm probably being very very optimistic here but I feel as if even if we don't add any pieces, just let these guys mesh together and develop, we'll be just fine.

I get that but how do u develop kobe bryant, penny hardaway, marc gasol, and charles barkley all at once? Philly really only has 3 guys to focus on. Benny, Saric, and Joel. We have SEVEN guys that we are trying to focus on and maximize their potential. Get lucky and draft Ball to move him to the bench?

We don't have 7 guys lol. We have Dlo, BI & Zubac.
Nance is a role player. His ceiling is 25 minutes a game. Came out of college as a senior and isn't going to get much better. Not very hard to integrate and doesn't need much development.
Clsrkson is a bench player.

Randle is the one who thinks he's a superstar but really isn't very good & I wouldn't mind shipping him out to free up minutes for Deng at the 4.

I can't agree more. I'm in DC for another couple years hopefully, then I'm making my way back home to LA. I can't deal with it out here

that was really the plan gong into the season. 

i didnt think we'd be bottom 3 bad, but man december really was a mf'er to us.

while consistency hasnt been there for any of the young core, we gotta give them at least another under this system (first year coach)

whether we can keep our pick or not, you just gotta let the kids develop.
