**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

If Ainge isn't willing to throw Bird an assist by giving Larry Legend Boston's #1 from NJ and Bird is dead set on dealing George, the Lakers have a chance.

But BOS has the advantage just like they did back when they acquired KG from McHale. Lakers wanted Garnett badly and pursued him to no end only to fail because once a Celtic always a Celtic.

Butler or Melo imo are more likely in spite of what's being reported in the wire today.

please stop with the melo talk man...

young fella can't get by any defenders without a screen and he can't blow by any big man coming off a screen AT AGE 20.
ya let's be patient

FOH with that bull
Considering that he's one of the best ISO scorers in the league, what does any of this mean.

I'm a big melo fan but I wouldn't want him here at this stage in his career

Would be like Kobe farewell tour all over again but longer

That's actually a terrible point.

Not really, he's saying this is how magic and Jeanie view it "we must have our own all star when we host the ASG".

He makes a good point in that that's their mindset, I'm not saying they're right

"The Lakers' young core isn't that good" or "The ownership situation is ugly with the Buss family" are points I can understand.

But not having an All-Star representative is not a point of contention.
