GET OUT -- New horror film about black man meeting white gf's parents. Looks creepy.

The ending is pretty satisfying IMO.
People were gasping, clapping, cheering and laughing in my theatre.
All warranted.
I just wonder how all these teeny boppers got into an R-rated movie.
I even saw a couple that had a kid with them no more than 7-9 yrs old from what I can tell.

ain't hard fam

buy a ticket to another movie and just enter what you want

That's how I justified watching 50 Shades.

How is that possible if you get assigned seats though.

I hardly go to the movies but when I do it's to this spot with lay back reserved seating.

Still possible

I went to a spot with reserved seats and nobody sat in their assigned seats anyways

Just check what movie is on during your movie hop. Go online as if you're buying tickets and check what seats are taken. Or just walk in and sit. Move if someone says those are their seats.

There was a line prior to getting into the theatre.
They were checking stubs then.
Practical for the theatre I go to for first weekend releases that draw crowds.
Only guess is they secured tickets online.
Teenagers in front of me were talking and on their phones pretty much half the movie.

Anybody notice how Rose's dad was talking about deer after they arrived? Very symbolic to how folks thought/think about black people.

Explain the deer part and black people good sir.

Rose's dad expressed his displeasure for deer, going as far to say that he wished they were all gone and how they did the world a favor by hitting (killing) one. It was in the same way people felt about blacks folks back in the day and how some feel today when black folks are killed.

Also Male Deer are referred to as Bucks, Bucks are also what male slaves were called. Google "Bed buck" and "Buck breaking".

Parts that had me lol'ing were

the dad towards the beginning "how we doin my man!"

The girl searching for "top NCAA prospects" and mirin' the google image results

And the TSA dude when he tried to report the missing person. " look how he's dressed. It looks weird. He's from BROOKLYN"

I knew I recognized the detective Rod met with.

It's Max (Erika Alexander) from Living Single
