Nike Lunarcharge Thread: Wide release 02/04/17

They don't exist. They were only made to size 11.5

I think you got some fakes man, they didn't make size 13 in the original colorway. 11.5 was the biggest.

Hmmm maybe they restocked in larger sizes I know the original release was limited to 11.5 and smaller. I've never seen a 12 or bigger in that colorway I'd love to trade my 11.5 for a 12. I had to stretch them out w shoe trees.

no idea where you are getting your information from man, they definitely made them larger than 11.5, plenty of people in here copped.

slamjam still has a 12 and 13 as well.

These sneakers are way too new and not hyped enough to be faked although it did cross my mind for a second but I quickly debunked it. And if they made a 14, concepts had them, then they definitely made a 13

Just got the original LE colorway for $136 shipped from EU.
I'm 11 in dunk lows, 11.5 in most Jordans, 11.5 in LunarEpic lows... So I went with a 12 in these. I will wear them with socks, so not worried about the heel.

Socks won't help the heel issue. They will still rub regardless.

Dude you don't know that everyone doesn't have that issues he may as well be fine like me...
All I was saying is that socks are not necessarily an instant fix for the heel issue if he happens to be one of the people who experience that issue. He mentioned the heel issue and how he doesn't have to worry about it since he will be wearing socks so I was merely saying that socks do not really have anything to do with solving the heel issue.

Socks with the little blister tab thing solve the problem for me on the LunarCharge, I picked up a couple pair at the nike outlet for $9 each - 50% off retail.  They do not solve the problem on the other shoe that gets me pretty good which is the Jordan XXXI, I have to either wear two bandaids plus the blister sock or wear quarter socks or high socks (I don't own any quarter socks and only dress socks that are long) so I rock the bandaids with my 31's, I'm wondering if it will get better once it heels cuz it happened from the LunarCharge and then the 31 made it worse. We'll see. Socks do the job if the issue is rubbing. If it's something else it wont be on your achillies most likely

Just got my light bones in and they're going back lol went TTS based off the review said but they're too snug I'm exchanging for half sz up like my ogs so heads up...

No review in here told you to go TTS, where did you see that? They're minimum 1/2 size up you'd probably be fine going full size from the lunar epics

The original drop in the US did not have any 12 or larger. There may have been a 2nd shipment or a restock but I know on drop date there were no 12 or larger. Not a single store of the 7 in Los Angeles got them, didn't see any online at multiple store I checked that day. Like I said, they could have come on a later date or as a restock because I never checked again after I copped my 11.5 but I was also told by the GM of one of the most popular sneaker boutiques in the world that no 12 or larger were made so I believed that.

I trust that they have been now I just know on release day they were not in existence and the 11.5 were very limited as well. The store I got mine from had 1 pair (i got it) the other big store in LA that had them only had 2 or 3 pair of 11.5

Hmm interesting. I definitely felt the premiums fit bigger than the OG.

No worries they probably do fit bigger but these are still too tight for me and the suede leaves your foot restricted unlike the neoprene on the ogs so I could tell instantly it was a no go. I'm sending them back first thing tomorrow.

The people in here are delusional. The reason why these shoes aren't hyped or selling well because they look like a generic tubular/y-3 and not a good one at it. Someone said that you will see many nikes that look like adidas because of a 3 year agreement. lol y-3 sneakers have been out loonger than 3 years, so that isn't an issue. When nike starts making new sneakers like my avatar, you will the hypetrain roll. adidas is making the better newer sneakers, and nike is doing the same ol, turning roshe, into a boot, turning af1 in a military sneaker, adding a zipper into a presto.

These won't sell out until nikelab or a collab version comes out, because the sneaker itself looks exactly like a poor mans retro boost, and like I said, not a good one of it

Going a half size up was perfect. Wore them today with thick socks.

No heel issues for me. Must be the socks.

You made an account just to say that?

Y-3 has been around for years but the Qasa high and retro boost made their debut in 2013-2014 so your point is irrelevant.

Explain to me what your sales metric is for a shoe that hasn't had any advertisement, non virtual/ brick and mortar shelf space for more than 2 weeks. You sound like another jaded former Nike hype beast "Sneakerhead" that's jumped ship to adidas because that's what's trending. Go cape for adidas somewhere else

Qasa debuted in 2013 (and developed before that), so the whole talk about "dolces 3 year agreement " is irrelevant. I don't go to what's trending. I've been an avid adidas fan since 09. I made an account because I am wondering why would the first post in this thread would even put lunarcharge and next big thing in the same sentence.  Nearly every website I go to has a different opinion to it. I can see why your average Nike fan would say is nice, but adidas has models that look superior to it. If Nike is going to make something that looks exactly to an adidas sneaker, at least do it right. even the newest presto looks awfully similar to another y-3/adidas sneaker, but yes lets blame adidas for nikes newest sneakers like kwazi, lunarepic, vapormax for not being hyped well as expected. They still have their af1s and jordans to milk out of.

That 3 year number is an estimate. @Edshoecator would be better at giving the exact details on when designers jumped ship and when the their designs couldn't be used.

The whole comparison between Nike and adidas is so played out and dead. nike sportswear and adidas originals don't even have the same target demo. Adidas is surging right now because they're riding on the coat tails of this street wear/tech wear trend, which is a smaller niche market. Nike isn't specifically catering to that which is exactly why shoes like the lunar epic and vapor max and kwazi don't appeal to you. I can almost picture your wardrobe soley based on how hard you're riding for adidas right now. But guess what? People who care about performance and don't care about what's popular In street wear circles aren't looking to adidas. And those people make up a share of the market that magnitudes larger than the ones than street wear snobs do, and even larger than those that call them selves Sneakerheads so it's completely plausible that Nike isn't catering to me or you with every shoe that they drop, so I cop what I like and pass on what I don't. But im not brainwashed by the street wear fad or by hype into only riding for one brand.

And before you come at me for just riding for Nike

Nike has stated that athletes are first, but it is dumb to think they haven't been shook with the success adidas has been gaining recently, them saying lifestyle isn't important but then recently making cash grab collabs with designers just shows they are taking notes. My wardrobe consists of mainly adidas, but I also have variety like raf simons, asics, undercover, ann d, reebok and some nike like internationalists and flyknit racers(although with the new adizero prime ltd coming looking like a better version of racers in aesthetics and comfort, that makes one less nike for me). I do run alot, but I would never run in nikes or adidas, I prefer asics and mizunos for that, so performance is a big thing for me when it comes to running. I wear adidas because they look good. adidas is making the best looking sneakers at the moment. That is the set in stone for what people see first when they buy a sneakers. when it comes to adidas sneakers you can have something that is versatile, comfortable and fashionable. I am not pro adidasin  in everything I prefer nike clothing,  especially acg and jun's running collab, The point is that people here are calling this the next big sneaker and complaining that adidas has the spotlight and that is why they aren't being hyped as expected. the real reason why they aren't hyped is due to because they are above average at best and not breathtaking like nikes previous sneakers. It would be like me making a thread on why adidas iniki runner isnt as hyped as the next big adidas sneaker and blaming jordans popularity for them not going as hyped as expected. yeah iniki are decent looking sneakers, but nothing special. just like lunarcharge. adidas line up in 2017 looks much more stacked thannikes so expect lunarcharges and other new nikes to underperform

Dog nobody cares. You literally ranting about one guy's post on the first page. Take a deep breath and hop off the keyboard. We in here because we like the shoe and don't care about some stupid Nike vs adidas beef everybody wants to drag into every thread pertaining to a new Nike shoe that releases

the adidas vs nike **** is tired.

Funny because people brought up adidas in this thread couple of times.
