I need a nter review cuz the ones online are either really good or really bad

watched the first ep and it had a few moments, intriguing enough for me to watch the second ep...

the boring aspect is accurate though, they really have nothing to do...

I already binged the 10 eps a few days ago. It was good.

Nothing spectacular but I digged the vibe and the humor. Had some funny characters and interactions. Liked the music/soundtrack for it. The final ep reveal is really funny when you're locked in to the story

I look forward to S2. I give it a solid 5.8/8

The season two pickups are the latest part of the Turner network's rebranding under Kevin Reilly.
TBS' brand reinvention continues to show signs of success.

The Turner network has renewed first-year comedies People of Earth and Search Party. The two will return for 10-episode second seasons in 2017.

Produced by Conan O'Brien and Greg Daniels, People of Earth follows a skeptical journalist (The Daily Show's Wyatt Cenac) who reluctantly joins a support group for alien "experiencers," who claim they have been abducted by aliens. The series hails from Conaco in association with Warner Horizon Television. According to TBS, the sci-fi comedy is currently averaging 4.3 million viewers per episode across all platforms.

Search Party, starring Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), is a dark comedy about four self-absorbed twenty-somethings who get swept up in an ominous mystery when a former college acquaintance suddenly vanishes. Led by executive producer Michael Showalter (Wet Hot American Summer), the series is produced in-house by Turner's Studio T in association with Jax Media.

When People of Earth came back (gotta admit completely fell off s2) I was annoyed wondering where this was.

Good to see they're all still shook and naturally so.

Love me some Shawkat

News to me. How this show jumped from TBS to HBO Max?

I remember the change there and a bunch of shows got cancelled. Thought this was gone for good.

FINALLY!

Crazy how HBO took this from TBS and got it on Max now. At one point thought it'd be cancelled.

Alia
