Jordan Retro XI 11/11/17

I still can't believe they didn't have a jumpman on the heel :smh:

Definitely a bizarre move by JB. The lack of a jump man changes the profile of the shoe. It is monotonous enough in all whte, but a silver jump man would have broken that up just a bit.

I welcomed those like I did the pure moneys. I was going to try and cop but they sold out. Gammas are still the worst to me, they could have worked if JB used colors different than the last yellow and blue

I forgot all about those. I sold mine last year for around 400. There is no need for them if you have the legend blue xi.

I prefer the shape of my anniversary 11s to my Legend blues. They don't have that boot toe, full mesh upper, very nice sockliner, also prefer clear sole to blue tint. Mad when I seen there where 25 pair with the jumpman though.

Yep plus they age extremely bad. At least the GS sizes got the blue tinted soles. I hated on my wife's pair when I used to own the anniversary 11s

Re: the city pack

I would've been all over the Charlottes were it not
For that weird pearl finish on the leather

silver jumpman wouldve been too typical imo no jumpman makes them interesting. cant wait till they get a retro with the new pl cut n tinted soles

Anni Xi's brand new out the box was fire, even aged pairs dont look bad unless the pl is yellow then :x

JB is going to do JB type of ish. Well at least they got the PL cut right again.
I'm still annoyed that even for the so-called remastered Space Jams, Jordan Brand continues to omit the internal foam padding from the entire mesh upper of the XIs. I could be mistaken but as far as I know, the DMP XIs were the last time the upper was constructed properly using that firm foam. Without it, the shoe feels much flimsier, and it actually changes the way it looks as well. Anyone who has or had the OGs or earlier retros knows what I'm talking about. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it's weaksauce that even at $220, we can't get the shoe in its "true" form, despite the way JB markets it.

I had the OGs and the first retros, they weren't that great either.
