So My Barber Has Been Charging Me More & More .....

- Bruh's barber has been slowly raising prices over past couple months presumably specifically for him since he found out OP is a YouTuber.

- A price increase to 30-35 bucks prompted OP to make this thread.

- OP is going back for New Year's since he's familiar with his cuts and he enjoys being on the receiving end of a good juug and/or finnesse.

- Amongst the conversation of high priced barbers, someone posts a IG video with fancy barbers who wear gloves, pour some type of chocolate syrup skin cleaning **** on people's faces.

- People call it soft.

- The logic of barbers wearing gloves for skin care is brought up.

- Fedora wearing, red skinny jean nut suffocating, impotent cheetah print tomb wearers (and a whole other band of internet "real ******") brag about how tough their "WWF Hardcore Dominican Danger" barbershops are and how the disrespect of implying that germs can accumulate on your hand will not be tolerated.

- Although it could be argued that they are in fact, ****** of quite the ***** *** variety for being afraid to ask their barbers for special requests, but nevertheless...

- The thread awaits in suspense for OP's New Year's barbershop shenanigans, presumably at the cost of whatever his barber got damb well pleases.
Repped.

Thanks

This just hit me.

$40 for a shape up?!?!?!?!

I wish a barber would try to charge me that much for anything. So glad I bought a Wahl's Color Pro kit and started doing my own hair.

Before that I was getting my haircut by a cat that had been cutting me up since I was a little kid. Most he charged me was $20 & that was for everything.

Barbers out here start out at $20 for a cut for men and $15 for kids. Back home it's at least $5 cheaper. IDK who these cats think they are.

I remember my first time getting ready to get my hair cut out here and I walked out before it was my turn. The doggone barbers heads was f'd up I was not about to trust them dudes with my head

yeah my homie is a barber and charges me 15 for everything including my beard and he uses a straight edge razor for the line up

Makes thread about barber charging more after finding his youtube, peaks interest of niketalkers as to why his youtube would cause barber to want to charge more, youtube link in sig, niketalker's click link, gets new subscribers and a some views on videos. Dope marketing.

Man , I read this whole thread throughout the day at work. i've been cracking up the whole time. Thanks for the laugh's gents.

The best barber I ever had in my life, started off charging $15. Then he went up to $25, so I stop going to him. Started going to my backup barber who eventually started charging $20.

Eventually the backup barber went MIA when he got married . So I went back to the original barber that was at $25. It was all good until 4 month ago he went up to $35.

So again, I am gone. I found my backup barber (eventually divorce the woman) and he still charging $20.

I have to get a cut every week, I rather pay $80 a month then $140 a month.

At the barbershop right now.

I'm next.

Giving $50 straight.

Usually give $20.

I go to two different barbers... in the same shop lol.

I alternate weekly.

Will go to the other dude next week and give him the same.

After that $20 again lol.

I get a taper, low on top, full bears line up, DJ Kaled beard not thick like Rick Ross, razor.

Whats a good hair product for straight hair? Tried layrite and suavecito already, put me on NT.

Are you looking for a strong hold with a lot of shine?

As for OP, my barber started raising prices, but I kept paying him the same amount then eventually he texted me that he's not cutting hair anymore. Come to find out, I saw him cutting hair on YouTube . My buddy cuts my hair now, charges me $35 for a bald fade and I give him $40 + an extra $20 for the holidays.
