Add in all of the factors like Angel's craziness, the one judge giving it to Danny, it being his first L, selling out Barclays, the public saying Thurman ran and it was boring, opportunity to get belts back etc etc and I can see a rematch happening just off what I listed.

Unless Danny were to change trainers and work on other aspects of his game(which he wont) I truly, as a Danny supporter do not see a different outcome. Not sure how many people even want to see a rematch, but I can see it.

Angel did post a video saying "we got a rematch with ponytail and next fight we going to whoop his ***" + Thurman being reluctant to fight winner of Brook/Spence and more open to a rematch I feel like its def going to happen.

Unless Danny's camp just wants another payday, I don't see why they would even want it. Consensus is that it was close only cause Thurman gave it away at the end. I don't think it was really that close but when you break it down. When Thurman came forward and was aggressive, he rocked Danny and had him scared to exchange. When he started moving around more, he made Danny look uncomfortable. Don't really see a route for victory if they're both at their best.

Schaefer is forming World Super Boxing Series...a two weight-class, single-elimination tournament in Sept. Winner gets $50 million.

I felt proper weight class would be welterweight originally, Schaefer said, but now 154 or cruiserweight...

Wow that's crazy.

Maybe a somebody like GGG decides to just enter the tourney instead of chasing Canelo, or dudes like Kell and Errol decide to move up. 50 mil is huge money, that could be real interesting.

Cruiserweight seems like a horrible choice though. Rather see a 154 and 140 tourney. Or at least switch cruiser for light heavy.

How many fights till you get to the final fight?

Cruiser would be easier to get the bigger names involved tho.

JMW isn't what it once was now that Canelita and Jermall are gone, and I doubt they are going to be able to get Cotto to participate.  You'd have to hope at least one or two big WWs like Brook, Spence, or Thurman move up to make it really interesting.

Would like to see Thurman fight Pac
FWIW Bob offered Gift and Always Broke the fight last time around, but there was never any discussion about Keith which probably speaks to what they think about his abilities.

If Pac's going to take a an actual risk it's going to be Bud or Floyd.

Nobody gives a **** about Cruiserweight . Heavyweight would be sick if they start off with all the undefeated top fighters.

Wilder
Joshua
Parker
Ortiz
Fury

For me there's literally not a single dude at cruiser I'm interested in seeing. Not one.

As far as 154, Canelo won't join because he's already making $36 mil to fight junior, but I'd bet Jermall would join for a chance at $50 mil, especially since he'd be a favorite. If everything went well the lineup at 154 lineup could be dope.

I'd probably like to see a 130 tourney more that anything though. Especially if Mikey moved back down and Gary Russell, Frampton, and LSC moved up, that'd be crazy. I wonder what the purses would be for everyone who doesn't win though. Would be crazy if they pull it off with the right participants

After watching 247, I've been wondering why GGG didn't campaign at 154 when he was a couple years younger and could cut the weight easier. His career would've taken off much faster. Jermall Charlo probably walks around heavier than GGG normally does.

He is a small mw he should have when he walks around at 160 to begin wit.

I don't get it either. He walks around at the same weight that Welterweights do. 154 is an EASY cut for him. Regardless of age.

Golovkin might feel like his power slips if he cuts weight. Or he'd rather knock out bigger dudes because it's more of a challenge?

Crazy to think that a tournament would make one excited but that really has me intrigued.

16 fighters, only weightclass I can think of with starpower to pull it off with a 50 mil purse would be welter junior welter lighweight I rule our MW bc GGG has destroyed that division alone

Heavyweight tourney would be the best

Joshua

Klitschko

Fury

Wilder

Parker

King Kong

Haye

Bellew

Haye

Bryant Jennings

Shannon Briggs

Pulev

I wonder how much the fighters get for each fight leading up to and including the final (for the guy that doesn't win).

Yeah heavy would be dope. Light heavy too, 130, 147, 154. I really hope they scrap that cruiserweight **** tho , definitely not the move
