I think he's making light of the comfort one can derive from basically walking on cardboard wrapped in leather.

what is the best insoles for the 1? i dont have a problem with all 1's but some make my feet ache more than others.

People saying 1's are unconfortable? Cant relate. All of my ones are comfy, padded, and the insoles feel perfect. A nice soft/firm cusion.
